Happy Friday everyone! This week we've been hard at work at fixing various bugs throughout the character sheet. Some of these changes have been pushed out throughout the week, while some will coincide with this changelog. Here is a brief summary of the changes we've put in place:
Bugs:
- Fixed an issue that was causing some users not to be able to select the SCAG Totem Warrior's Totem Spirit options.
- Fixed a bug where limited use actions whose reset type (Short Rest, Long Rest, etc.) changes with level didn't reset on rest. (i.e. Bardic Inspiration)
- Fixed a bug where modifier choices in class feature options were not showing up in builder. (.i.e. Humanoid sub-options for Favored Enemy will now show up in character builder.)
- Vehicle Proficiencies (Land and Water) will now show up in the tools section. We also added further classification to the various vehicles to designate whether its a land vehicle or a water vehicle.
- Fixed the Eberron toggle: The content will now respect the preference to hide Eberron content in the sheet and builder.
- Fixed bug with Magic Armor stealth check overrides not showing up in character sheet.
- Fixed issue with builder crashing if you went to what's new without a race selected.
- Fixed logic for when to display concentration/ritual tabs in Spells section.
- Actions now take into consideration "Bonus > Melee Reach" modifier. (ex: Bugbear Long-Limbed now affects unarmed strike).
- Display logic for caster info summary at top of Spells section has been changed to only show when a class has spellcasting or pact magic feature.
- Readonly sheets would not use a subclasses spellcasting ability in spell calculations.
- Changed the logic for all item spells to take into highest spellcasting data as fallbacks in item spell calculations. Previously only staffs and wands would do this, but this change will fix save DC for things such as Anstruth Harp.
Additions:
- Character Sheet PDF will now show additional notes information in spells and actions. PDF also now shows if a spell requires Concentration or is a ritual spell.
- Added support for new Eberron features.
Thanks for the update.
I really wish that you hadn't been forced to devote any time towards implementing Eberron crap. And on top of that, now you have to devote time towards implementing Ravnica crap as well; the setting that nobody asked for.
I'm VERY excited for the Eberron Crap.. and surprisingly excited for the Ravnica Crap.. I loved that series in MtG and always thought the lore was fantastic. Shame you don't like it though.. not for everyone I guess.
Forced would imply that they did it unwillingly, but Adam seemed quite into it in the &Beyond video. As it’s digital only, they’re probably making some good coin from it. I was wondering why the bug squashing and polishing seemed to have slowed and this accounts for it. Hopefully we’ll see more updates over the next week. Putting in all the missing sidebar info for Actions would seem like an easy win and a no-brainer.
Strongly disagree. More content is a good thing. Even if you don't like Eberron or Ravnica, there's plenty of material there to adapt to Forgotten Realms.
In addition, if you've been reading the forums, or Reddit, or social media, you'd know that people have been asking for D&D and Magic crossovers for years, and of those Ravnica has been the most requested. I think it's an amazing example of a company listening to the wants of its community.
It's been so quiet in this changelog section lately. It's getting less fun to obsessively check for updates . . .
