I really like dice towers. The old school gamer in me says "just roll them with your hand, ya schmuck!" But I really like some of the more creative DIY towers I've seen. I've seen Lego towers, self-loading Lego towers, and towers made from Pringles potato chip cans.
That last one was actually really cheap to make IF you have craft supplies to begin with (hot glue gun, toothpicks, exacto knife, various paints), AND it looked like the traditional "Rapunzel" tower. I might actually be able to do that one.
But what about everyone else? Have you made any kind of cheap DIY dice towers?
I cut mine out of foam core after designing and laying out all the pieces on graph paper... spray-painted the pieces black... then glued and sunk round toothpicks in to hold it all together... some blue felt in the trough... and done!. Perfect afternoon project.
I used some of what I saw on there to create a simple lighthhouse out of cardboard and a Pringles can, and I've been pleased with the result (not finished yet, but I'm getting there). I'll try to post a pic but I'm not sure the link is working...
I made my Dice tower with some cardboard and hotglue. It is incorporate in the middle of our DM screen made with old political signs (it's like cardboard but in plastic) and it does the job. There two holes, one where the dice will comeback to the DM and one where the dice will fall into a custom dice tray I made for my party with wood and door mouling big enough so everyone can use it.
I tried to post a pic of just the dice tower, but it didn't work. aAnnyway, I made this flame Skull dice tower out of a soda bottle, colored baggies, and a poster-board.

And since the political season is almost over...free signs everywhere!

I just want to tell everyone "happy gaming" and actually mean it. Whatever your game is, just have fun with it, it is after all, just a game.

That is SO cool =)

Sounds cool. Can you post a pic?
Hiya!
Haven't talked in awhile haha Hope all is well :)
Anyway, you know me. I just 3D print my dice towers. I printed this in black recently https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2750951
Only cost me $2.50 of material!
I honestly don't get how people like dice towers. I have ten dice fingers.
These are the links I've been looking at for ideas for a dice tower:

I may be a little late to the party, but I made my current dice tower from packaging material
(I hope the pictures show)
