As someone who would rather digest information via (quicker, easier) text rather than watch videos, it's frustrating to see the consistently low quality of transcriptions being posted to this website. Oftentimes it seems that they're being transcribed via text-to-speech software, resulting in weirdness like the word "deities" in today's Cosmology of the Elves video being rendered as "D&Ds" every single time. I would like it if more care was taken with these transcriptions--at least a basic editing pass by a human reader, for instance--instead of what is pretty clearly happening right now.

We've been doing transcriptions of the videos because we know some of our users would like the read the contents of our interviews rather than view them. The transcription service (actual people not a computer) seemed to have dropped the ball a bit. We'll make sure we improve the quality of these from now on.
