I went to Add Inventory and typed in Night and nothing came up except for Goggles of Night. :I Hrmn!
Oh! I don't have Sunless Citadel purchased. All the other options allow you to purchase the magic items subgroup separately and Tales of the Yawning Portal does not (basically I only purchased the items that I needed from every source to allow me to make any character - all races and subraces, classes and subclasses, all feats, backgrounds, and magic items)... however since Tales doesn't have the magic items in it's own subgroup to purchase, I can't add that in.
So the magical item Night Caller from Sunless Citadel is not able to be added to the character sheet at all.

It is: Night Caller.

Can you access the link I provided above?
Are you a owner of Sunless Citadel or are ypu accessing it via sharing?
I'm accessing it via sharing so that's why I can see it... but since I don't own it I can't add it to a character that's not in the campaign. Right?
So I basically just made a dummy magic item and just copy/pasted the item description and tags and such and just added it that way.

That is correct.
