I am part of a campaign with a number of homebrewed magic items, and ran into an odd bug (?) with item descriptions that are edited after being given to the player. The descriptions of several items were significantly changed after already being equipped and attuned. The players of the characters who own the edited items and the DM can see the updated version, but other players in the campaign see the original unedited text when they visit the character sheet, even on different devices (desktop and phone web browser) and after logging out and back in again.
Slightly longer explanation, without revealing too much about the server set-up of D&D Beyond - there are circumstances where the changes that have been made may take a little time to synch across the server cluster.
I expect that it will be all sorted within about an hour at tops.
