I've read a whole bunch of posts here, and still can't seem to figure out how to have Drow as an available race in the DnD Beyond Character Builder, for myself or my players. I've purchased the PHB, DMG, MM, SGAG, XGTE, CoS, LMoP, and WDH. I have a Master subscription, too. Drow just doesn't come up in the character builder anywhere, and I've got several players interested in running Drow characters in Dragon Heist once we start it up in the next week or so.
I've looked everywhere, and can't seem to find why this is happening, and though I've seen plenty of similar posts, it seems that most of the time, the problem is that the user hasn't purchased the necessary content.
Drow are from the PHB - just to confirm you purchased the PHB in full or compendium only version? If it was compendium only, then the builder elements arent included.
The other players will need to create a character within a campaign and you need to enable campaign sharing (since you are the one with a Master Tier subscription). Whilst they will have content shared after joining the campaign, they will only be able to use it within the builder when its a character directly tied to the campaign where the sharing is enabled.
As far as I can tell, I've purchased the whole thing. I only ever really do this, and I don't have any further purchase options for any PHB content in the marketplace. Everything under 'additional purchase options' just says 'view details' and doesn't give me a purchase option at all.
Sometimes, newly purchased content takes a while to appear. If this happens, the best bet is to clear your cache and try again. If there are problems within a campaign, turn off content sharing and turn it back on. That usually fixes the problem. If not, then sending a ticket to the customer support team is your next step.

Very confused, please help.
It’s a Subrace of Elves that is unlocked with Sword Coast.

Wary the wizard who focuses on homebrew, for he can create nightmares that you wouldn't even dream of

Aaaaand suddenly it works. No idea why, as I didn't do anything, but apparently this is resolved?
