how come when i export a character to a character sheet, i cannot see the image portrait? also where and how do i add factions and see that information on the sheet as well?
Background information wouldn't print for me either if I click on the box the information shows but then it goes beck to a blue box . Tried to export with multiple programs. I think it's a layering problem.
There's a major overhaul of the character sheet and export system currently in development, which should address these issues. :)
Has anyone heard when this 'major overhaul' to the exported character sheet is happening? These are not casual issues but rather detract from DDB being a good source and builder tool.

Probably a good question to ask on the nextDeveloper Stream next week.

Has there been any update to this 2017 topic? My character sheet still does not export with my character's profile picture so I have to manually add it to the PDF every time I make an update to my inventory, level, XP, etc when exporting.
Dont hold your breath. Ever since WotC bought DDB theres been very little development with it. Yes, we all know they are working on One D&D and a VTT but thats no excuse to let stuff like this slide. D&D and RPGs are still PLAYED AROUND A TABLE Wizards, its not all about playing online.
I do still use DDB but Ive looked elsewhere for character sheets, there are plenty out there running through through Adobe which work ten-times better that the sheets in DDB.

There are still a few things missing from the current character sheet, but those should be addressed in the upcoming character sheet revamp.
A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
I noticed the same things when I exported as well. Looking forward to the updates that fix.
