I had a spell recently approved but it was a new version of one I'd created already and the old one hasn't been replaced by it, so there are currently two versions publically available.
I've noticed that whenever I do a revision, the "Added" count resets. What happens to the people who used a previous version? Does their version no longer function? Does it remind them to re-add the new version to their collection? Auto-add it to their collection? Simply keep functioning like normal as part of their collection? Delete it from their collection?
And I was up to 41 adds with my Dagger Master feat too, after Adam's bump on the dev update. It was the first time I've ever felt loved and important in my entire life. And now I'm back to zero with it because I updated it.

As far as I know, when a new version is submitted and approved, it should automatically replace the old version in the homebrew listing, but not in the members' homebrew collection. It is up to them to either keep the old version or update to the new one.
If it doesn't already, there should be a message that the homebrew was updated so they know to look it over. I know I'd probably never check the listing again for a homebrew I already added to my collection.
So, here's how a new published version is "intended" to work.
The new version will replace the existing version in the main listing.
The previous version(s) are still in-use for those users that added it to their collection / characters.
You can see a list of the previous versions on the item's detail pages.
The Views should carry over from one version to the next, if they are not, that's a bug that we'll need to fix.
As far as that Adds, that's more difficult, as the versions are separate entities, tied to different collections. If we want those counts to carry over, we will need to change up some queries.

But I must check this with the staff.
