I had a Fighter 2/Cleric (Forge Domain) 6 character and was deciding between Fighter 3 and Cleric 7. I made the him a Cleric 7, didn't like it and then removed Cleric 7 and took Figher 3 (Eldritch Knight).
On the sheet, I still have the spell slots for a Cleric 7, and do not have the spell slots for Fighter 3 (Eldritch Knight).
When making the changes, somehow the sheet got bugged. I would prefer not to rebuild from scratch, since I have been using the sheet as my primary since the campaign started.
I had a similar issue a while back where I leveled up and added spells to my sheet (was projecting out what I would do in the future). After viewing those changes, I decided to go back to where I was and just removed the levels I added, but didn't remove the spells, in doing that the spells remained prepared on my character sheet AND I could not remove them.
The fix was to level back up to that spot, remove the spells, then level back down again.
Shouldn't those two have the same number of spell slots by the rules?
I believe this is correct.
Fighter 2/Cleric 7 would receive 4 first level slots, 3 second, 3 third, and 1 fourth according to the Cleric class table.
Fighter EK 3 / Cleric 6 would followmulticlass spellcasting table, which would be adding ALL of your Cleric levels (6) and 1/3 of your Fighter levels (1) to give you a total of: 7, which would be 4 first, 3 second, 3 third, and 1 fourth.

Is there a way to fix/resolve this? -

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?

Eldritch Knight counts as a third of it's level in contribution to multiclassing spell slots.

I guess it is correct. When I still had a Level 4 spellslot - it just looked very odd.
