I have 2 rapiers Costomized as Dual Wield and both are marked as Wielding. (should be okay due to the Feat)
Try changing one of the rapiers to not being Dual Wield (it should really say Off Hand) as this works for the attack stats (if you mark both as dual wield, it moves both into bonus attacks and strips the +mod to the damage)

That is confusing. They should REALLY change it back to Off Hand if that’s how the mod logic is set up
The issue with saying "Off-hand" is that there is no off hand in 5e. It's not about the hand; it's about the fact that one weapon is being used as your action (gets a damage bonus from STR/DEX) and the other is not (no damage bonus from STR/DEX). It's still a less than ideal setup (I think they need to move away from the current model of only one attack option being displayed per weapon in inventory), but that's the justification.

Part of the issue stems from there’s no distinction between equipping and wielding in DDB. People tend to equip a bunch of stuff so it all shows up under attacks. Maybe there should be another checkbox or state for wielding, then the system would just know if you have one or two weapons in hand. No need to customise weapons. Then, say you have two different weapons in each hand, both should show up in the bonus action attacks.

There is an option for wielding a weapon. If you turn it off it will no longer show up as an attack action.
Also if you check the box for Dual Wield then the weapon attack moves to your bonus actions section and the damage is adjusted accordingly.

They mean (I believe), they wish you could apply the weapons you have to appear as attacks, but you choose from *there* which are considered wielded, so that you don't sacrifice an easy view of your possible weapon selections for the automatic calculating of the Dueling fighting style. I agree with them. I'll usually put my ranged option, and melee option as equipped so I don't have to navigate and scroll through equipment to wield things when I'm in the middle of a turn/combat. But this would exclude me from the auto-calculating bonus.

You get it! All the players in my party tend to equip all their weapons so they can weigh up the best option for each attack, like you can for spells. The way it works at the moment is inelegant. Customising a weapon for dual wielding makes no logical sense. You should really just “wield” one or two weapons from your list of attacks and the rest is calculated accordingly. That way you can check/uncheck on the fly without having to dive into Customise for each round.
Would it be possible to have an option to simply ignore the Character Creation steps and just have the blank character sheets to input stats, features, skills and attacks ourselves?
This would permit a much wider range of homebrew to be used from Dungeon Masters or Players who do not make use of D&D Beyond, but play with players who do use D&D Beyond. Plus seeing how capable the site is of working like that would certainly make it more appealing to more customers.
I play with a DM that creates a very large portion of Homebrew classes or skills or features and I would love to make use of the streamlined apps or my laptop for these new skills and character options but I am limited in what I can put on the sheet currently. If I were to try and use his homebrew I would have to go through the steps of creating all his things in my own personal Homebrew collection on D&D Beyond and then try to use them.
Instead it could be much simpler and efficient for me to have an option to access blank Character Sheets on D&D Beyond so that I could simply fill them out freehand, or free typed considering the technology.
Doing so would also make D&D Beyond a tool to use in similarly styled table top games that run on the same mechanics.
I just know I would love to have a selectable option to have the wonderful layout blanked and filled out entirely by my own knowledge or discretion instead of being mostly dependant on checking off selection boxes and going step by step.
Hopefully this can be taken into consideration if it hasn't been already.

"A dragon's scale is stronger than any steel but the flesh beneath is as mortal as you or I."
Not sure if this has been brought up already (if so, consider it a bump) but could it be possible to mark characters as favorites in the "My Characters" section? Being able to add a little heart symbol to the characters who are keepers among all the experimental builds would be a helpful organization feature.

Couldn't you build a very basic level 1 character, export the sheet and then just blank out all the fields and populate them as you wish?

Oh that's definitely possible.
I was just thinking it would be nice to have that built into the website so people don't have to bother exporting it and then editing the PDF. That way it would remain accessible online through the website and the file wouldn't need to be downloaded to a mobile device.
Yes it could be done with a few extra steps oneself, but it would be nice to keep it simple and direct by using the website.
All it could be is an extra labelled option at the first character creation page. An option to instead manually setup the page with custom/homebrew information without needing to create the homebrew yourself on your account.
Plus not everyone may have access to a way to edit the PDF. Having this option would also make it easier for spur of the moment characters that use homebrew information to be setup.
There are of course ways to do this. I have PDF's saved that I used to fill out but it would be nice if filling out the blank sheets through the website could still make use of the great D&D Beyond character page interface. Similarly to how a custom attack can already be added, custom skills and feats and races could be implemented without having to go through the lengthy process of creating a homebrew on the site. Plus stats of a character could be adjusted without having to create a new race in homebrew.
All in all, yes I could spend a long time adding all the homebrew things my DM uses to my account. However it would be much simpler and straight forward for me to simply have a blank sheet to fill out through the website that would still use the websites tools and layout to display it.
Is there a way to mark your character as a lycanthrope or vampire?
I suggest it as a feature. Where it will modify your sheet and give alternate combat options.
Not currently; you might be able to create a magic item (or set of magic items) to mimc the effect; Once the companions/wildshape feature is out, it might be possible to use that feature for this purpose. (Or not, depending on how it is implemented)
On that last one, do you have a weapon equipped in your off hand?
I have 2 rapiers Costomized as Dual Wield and both are marked as Wielding. (should be okay due to the Feat)
I wonder if since the new sheet is now available if it wouldn't make sense to lock this thread and point people to the feedback and bugs threads?

I really need 'disadvantage on Stealth checks' to be put someplace visible for folks wearing Heavy (and some Medium) armors.
My players forget it constantly. I have to remind them too often.
