Thanks again for providing feedback. We're thrilled with the overall reception for the digital sheet and are happy to have solid feedback to use to improve. We have sorted through all of it and some prominent themes have emerged to help us identify some tweaks. I wanted to give an update on some of the upcoming changes you will start to see over the next several days:
Omnipresent Information. We clearly see that Initiative, Armor Class, Defenses, and Conditions should be always displayed/ more easily-accessible.
Layout Consolidation. With Initiative, AC, Defenses, and Conditions pulled from Combat, there's no need for that section. We also hear that it would improve the experience to have more room to see the information in the "detail" sections, so we will consolidate the two boxes on the right into one to give it more room to breathe.
"All" Display in Detail Areas. Within the bigger detail box, we will default to displaying all elements in that section. So, for Spells, you'll see all of your spells by level listed, with the ability to click filters to reduce the list as desired (including Ritual and Concentration filters). In Actions, you'll see all your possible actions listed by action type, including your attacks. Then you can filter down by action type, whether it is an attack, or limited use.
Desktop View on Tablet Landscape. This one was a no-brainer after seeing the feedback. For anything above a 1024 resolution, we will display the "desktop" view that requires no page navigation.
We are also working on some smaller changes such as adjusting font sizes in the PDF export, moving section headers to the top of the section, quality of life improvements like condition descriptions, etc.
And I also want to mention that we are still going to explore a way to reintroduce swiping to navigate on mobile. A change like that will take a little bit longer than the "next several days," but it's on the short list.
Thanks again for the feedback - I'm feeling really good with the direction for these tweaks and the updates will be implemented soon!
You absolutely summed up everything I wanted that I didn't get in the new sheet, Badeye. Very excited for the updates to come in, and also so impressed with how you and the team have handled the revamp's implementation and feedback discourse.

Agreed. I am, what you would call in the common tongue, a happy camper!
Also happy to see more and more of those pesky Beholder bugs (present company excluded, BadEye) getting squished from the Bug Mega-Thread.
Hexblade with Improved Pact Weapon Eldritch Invocation is still missing the +1/+1 modifier in addition to Hex Warrior gear. I don't know if this is a bug or not. Happy to be redirected wherever it's needed.

I believe it is a bug and have posted it as such in the separate bug mega-thread they have going for the new character sheet. In the meantime, you can manually add in the +1 by clicking the weapon, clicking customize, and manually keying a "1" into both "to hit bonus" and "damage bonus". Not the greatest if you change weapons a lot, but workable.
Full disclosure, there is no BadEye in that thread actively engaging. Least not that I have seen. Things seem to be getting fixed slowly, but not a whole lot of easy to follow updates on the matter.
I'd really love a exhaustion level counter (or slider) along with the exhaustion condition.
Also, as DM, I have been adding a lot of customized actions for my players, based on PHB actions or variant DMG actions (grapple, shove, climb onto bigger creature, overrun, tumble) or skill-based things they can do.
When you export to pdf, actions get cut off once the front page box is full. Would be good+++ if the overflow was transferred on the second or an additional ACTIONS/ FEATURES page.
(As an aside, only one player out of my 8 players will now be using actual sheets. Others all love the new digital versions)!
Minor tweak request, but would be a nice QOL feature...
Dancing swords get 4 attacks before they have to return to their owner. Currently I track this by spinning a d4, but having checkboxes on the sheet would be a great help!
BUG ALERT!! (I think..also, right thread?) Make a Cleric character. It is not auto-preparing Domain spells when you choose your prepared spells...thus adding a level of necessary memorization. It is there when you look at the character sheet though...hmm?
Omnipresent Information. We clearly see that Initiative, Armor Class, Defenses, and Conditions should be always displayed/ more easily-accessible.
Thanks Adam, those changes sound brilliant!
As part of your point above, would it also be possible to put a Concentration toggle near Conditions? I watch a lot of streams and it seems to be a consistent problem that even experienced players forget they are concentrating when they cast a new spell, and especially forget to make Con checks when they get damaged. Remembering how to calculate the Con check also seems to be an issue.
A simple toggle in line with Inspiration or Conditions would suffice until you can build some kind of system for tracking which spells are 'active'.
Currently in the Features section of a Bard’s character sheet, the Bardic Inspiration feature has the relevant die type next to it (eg d6), but Song of Rest does not. Song of Rest does have what level the die scales up to at the bottom of the text block, but Bardic Inspiration does not.
Can they be made a little bit more uniform, please?
Personally, I’m a fan of both being like Bardic Inspiration, so the die you are supposed to roll is right there at the top.

Many thanks again for the great work!
Never would have thought of this, but YES that'd be great.
Concentration! People forgetting about Concentration is probably the biggest problem with 5E. Way more important than Inspiration in terms of what needs to be front and center, or even AC which is easy to remember. DDB also needs to implement a concentration tracker that warns you when you cast a new spell that will override prior concentration, and prompts you when you enter damage (plus shows you the Con save DC)
This is so annoyingly true that I forgot about Concentration as thing that even needs to be considered on this sheet until you mentioned it! The addition of it recognizing you having it turned on/off before casting a concentration spell is a cool thing. That's a lot of if/then coding to do in the calculations, but I would be happy with an inspiration-style button for the time being. Then, down the road, when they take at look at a "temporary conditions" pass they could buff the feature up. Great call out!
Agreed, an on/off button like Inspiration would do the trick for the time being. It's not uncommon for DMs to end sessions on a cliffhanger, and it would be good to know if I'm concentrating when I come back to play the next session... just like I know if I have inspiration or not.
Sorcery Points seem like they should be under Other rather than Actions. Also, it would make sense to have the chosen metamagic abilities listed with them.

I am just curious, but wouldn't it make since to add another tab under spells for Meta Magic and sorcerer points so that you don't have to leave your spells to use your meta magics? I would think that less disrupting and a bit more intuitive personally.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
BUG/UNRESOLVED ISSUE: I have a Pact of the Tome Warlock with magic initiate (warlock) and Rod of the Pact Keeper +2 attuned. The Pact Boon Spells count as Warlock spells for me and the Magic initiate spells ARE warlock spells because that it the class I chose but neither reflect the additional +2 to hit or DC they should reflect. The standard warlock spells do however so the item is providing the bonus to my base class warlock spells just not my other warlock spells.

Excellent news on the tablet resolution options. I was the guy who brought technology and Beyond to my group's table and I suddenly felt left behind by laptop users. Super impressed with sheets regardless.
Also, a lot of the menu options on the "desktop" layout are hidden behind hovers which doesn't work well for those of us on tablet devices. We should be able to access those menus with a tap and not be forced onto a default page.

Please give an option to get rid of the decorative borders. They're distracting and don't make much sense from a design perspective.

I noticed that the Actions section of the Character sheet doesn't list Grapple or Shove as available actions
