For bards, can the die size currently active be added to the Actions tab for Bardic Inspiration (it shows in the header for Bardic Inspiration on the Features tab, but not in the Actions).
Also, can the improvements to Bardic Inspiration (Combat Inspiration) be added to the text (or an amended text provided) for the Valour Bards?
Two other bits that I would like to see incorporated. One, would be a full character art section, tab, whatever, somewhere in the sheet. The second thing is a full screen mode for mobile (might be easier to do on the app). People who don't have huge screens are limited on real estate. I, for instance, have an LG G5. Not shabby, but it feels a bit cramped to me. I did the math as you can see below using a vertical measurement for the screen and did not include the Chrome bar as that can be scrolled past, annoying as it is. Sorry if anything is off, not my strong suit.
Screen - 4.60in / 11.7cm Notification Bar - 0.15in / 4mm D&D Beyond Menu - 0.35in / 9mm Character Bar - 0.52in / 1.3cm Character Sheet - 3.26in / 8.3cm Menu Buttons - 0.31in / 8mm
So, if a full screen option were possible it would potentially expand my character sheet by 0.81in / 2cm to a total of 4.07in / 10.3cm. That's on the extreme side because it would need to eliminate the notification bar, D&D Beyond menu bar, AND the menu buttons. Currently I am getting around this with a program called GMD Full Screen Immersive Mode, it gets rid of the notification and menu bars, but obviously not the D&D Beyond bar. Big help though.
I think AL compliance is on their to-do list but no idea how far down.
Well, it's not just for AL compliance. When I've run games in the past for systems that had too many splatbooks I've often restricted the number of books my players could use just to keep the number of books people had to drag around under control (and to reduce the amount of time we would waste looking things up).
Another note directly related to campaigns and how they interact with characters...
If character creation source filtering/restricting were implemented, I would want to define those at the campaign level. So if a player clicked on my campaign invite link and selected a pre-made character from their characters collection, the system would have to check that character to make sure it was "legal" for the source restrictions I had in place for the campaign.
------------
And something I noticed about the character sheets themselves...
I was playing last night and I couldn't find the "use" button for my crossbow. I seem to remember an older version of the sheet at one point having a "use" button or something that would automatically "spend" ammo. Am I just mis-remembering that? Or was it removed? It would be nice to have for campaigns and DMs that want you to track your arrows/bolts/knives/etc.
One, would be a full character art section, tab, whatever, somewhere in the sheet.
I reckon there should be an option to put two images in; one for the small portrait, and another for a larger portrait. This would be in line with how other elements in the system work, like spells, items, etc. And if you click on your small portrait, it opens up the larger portrait in a light box like what happens in adventure books when you click on a map.
This function could also be disabled by default in the public sheet so that there are no issues with IP.

One thing I've noticed that still kind of bugs me a little. When I click on a feature in the actions section, it doesn't give me the full expanded details of that feature. I have to go to the features and traits section and click on it there. Could the full description be added to the side pane when clicking on a feature in the action section?

Divine Smite should technically be under Limited Use and have checkboxes... not sure how it would work though, allowing you to select which level spell slot gets used?

Agreed. I scour the internet for just the right portrait, and then I have to crop it down to the character's head because otherwise it's just a smudge. It would be awesome if we could show the whole thing somewhere.
Also, it would be really nice to have an option to hide the default actions and features. For instance, my 8th-level diviner has Two-Weapon Fighting in her bonus action list. I have no doubt that someone, somewhere, has an 8th-level diviner who dual wields all over the place;' but I ain't that person. If I could make that action disappear, it'd make for a cleaner sheet.
Keep up the great work! It seems like every time I sit down to game, I discover that my character sheet has improved in the interim. What you're doing is amazing.

Someone on the boards suggested it not show up unless a weapon is equipped with Dual Wield checked and I think that's a fine idea.
Two-weapon fighting should always be there. It’s a reminder of potential options that people may not consider normally.
EDIT: just to be clear, if they make another customization that allows you to opt out of options to display on the sheet then sure, go for it. But then it’s one step closer to being just another one of those “same ol’ character sheets” we already have all over the place where your caster only has “cast a spell” listed and your fighter has “extra attack” and that’s all they ever do because you forget that you can help or shove or dodge or whatever. It’s not like it’s taking up space that would be better suited for something else. I hope they go the opposite direction and add more options like features that can be combined with another action so there is a full menu of options listed when choosing an action.

Yeah, this. Honestly, I'd like them to even include the ability to add in variant rules from the DMG like for Disarming, Tumbling, etc. I struggle constantly to get players to remember these options and having them on the sheet makes a huge difference as most of the time, players just forget and can't be bothered looking up the rules to know what they can and can't do; presenting an option with a simple click to find the rules would be amazing.
And sure, if there's an option to not show them, I'm fine with that, but by default, the standard options should definitely be shown.

I prior to D&D Beyond I was using MPMB, and still do for in person games where power is limited or that I need more inventory management options, but I keep a word document with shove, dodge, grapple, and a few more often forgotten options and past them into each character in the notes with reference page numbers and a label under the appropriate actions. Getting this on D&D Beyond would be awesome and pushing more closer to a full replacement of other systems. +1 to you Sagnam.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
Since I can't search for "at will" (I guess too many results), I hope this hasn't been brought up before.
I've love a way to "cast" at will spells, as some of them have long term effect to the character.
For instance, my Warlock took the Invocation "Armor of Shadows" which allow me to cast "mage armor" at will. Casting that gives me an AC of 13 + Dex bonus for 8 hours. I'd like a button to show my AC with that invoked. I'm sure there are other spells that could do the same. As opposed to the [Cast] button, it could be a checkbox, or a button that shows pressed or unpressed.
My only option right now is to create a homebrew 0-weight armor that mimics the spell. But since it's not under Spell I'm likely to forget WHY I have the AC I do.
I really like both the online character sheet / character viewer revamp and the reorganized / able-to-fit-more-stuff + important-stuff-up-front paper sheet.
I searched "tooltip" and "sidebar" in this thread with no results, so I'm posting this suggestion.
I would like to be able to pull up monster info in the online character viewer sidebar. As DM, I created an NPC Druid in the character creator. I would like to be able to either tooltip or sidebar some monsters she can Wild Shape into. Right now, I have to open a new browser tab and navigate to that monster to have its info.
I understand a possible concern for metagaming if this is available, but maybe there's a way to tag a character as DM-owned in the campaign (e.g., the fact that its unclaimed ; a new DM-owned category).
I know tooltips don't currently work, since I tried putting one in the Notes tab. I also tried a workaround by creating a homebrew item with the monster tooltip in its description, but that did not work either.
Ultimately, it would be awesome if I could click on Wild Shape in actions, have a list of monsters pop up in the sidebar, then click on one and it recalculates / refreshes the character view to reflect new stats ;)

Pretty sure the designers said this is an upcoming feature, at least the first part of the request.
It would be awesome if you could add arrow inventory on the sidebar of bows just like darts is. this would make adjusting inventory as you use them much simpler.

No. It should be up to the player to decide what they want to be reminded of, and what they want to remove from their character sheet because it's useless clutter.

I posted about this in the bug/support forum yesterday, here, so hopefully this gets resolved. It seems that searching within a thread specifically isn't working, which sucks in a thread of 1200+ posts.

Same goes for a Barbarian while raging - there should be an on/off toggle/checkbox that will then have "resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, slashing damage" appear in the "Defenses: Resistances" box near AC; as well as automatically increase damage outputs accordingly.
Another suggestion which is probably already on your list but here goes anyway: can we please have additional info in the sidebar for everything in the Proficiencies and Languages panel? Would be very handy. It would be even more awesome to pull extra info from XGE for tool proficiencies if possible?
