I have a BIG ask for a small change to the default preferences!
By default, the privacy for all characters is set to Public - which means everyone in your campaign can see your sheet. If you have actually populated the backstory and notes sections, they can now see info that is only really for you and the DM. Can we have the default changed to Private?
Was addressed in the stream, BadEye said this isn't going to happen, as their data indicates that way more people want it public than private. Therefore the amount of people who have to make a manual change is smaller with the setting the way it is.
I would love if you would consider adding the following metatags to the character sheet. This will allow us to add a character sheet to our Home Screen on Android or iOS, then when we open it from the homescreen it opens without the address bar and navigation (so more like an app than a website). I would enjoy having that extra real estate and not have the address bar bounce back into view after scrolling to the top of a page.
I did notice a problem on my monk though; on bother the Featurs and Actions pages the Ki Point description reads: You have scalevalue - No level scale data available points per short rest. Also, none of the monk bonus actions, such as martial arts or various Ki powers appear under Bonus Actions on the Actions page.
A place for Wizards to see their non-prepared ritual spells would be nice as well, since they don't need to have a spell prepared to cast it as a ritual.
Seconded on this one. Wizards in particular tend to load up on ritual spells. Maybe, in addition to the "1st", "2nd", "3rd" tabs, we could have a "Ritual" tab?
I noticed that the temp hit points can't be edited by clicking on it on the desktop view. You have to open the side panel. On the mobile app you can click in that field to add temp hp.
Overall I feel this is much clunkier to use on the mobile side. I really prefer the old over the new for mobile. I know it was said that 70% of people use desktop views for playing but the streamlining of the mobile version took a big hit with this update. Also one of my major gripes with this update is that I all of my class and racial features that I may want to use (ie. Stones endurance and the like) are buried in the features section amongst everything else. I loved that before everything I could potentially do and that I had to keep track of with the check boxes and what not were on the front page. It'll be even easier to forget your class and racial features now that they aren't in your face on the front page.
Overall I would say I lean overall in favor of the design of the old one by 90%. There are a few nice quality of life changes in the update but for the most part I think it's clunky and pretty ugly compared to the older one. I prefer a more modern take on the character sheet versus the old stale legacy looking character sheet.
Also, I would love a way to add different sets of dice and damage types to the custom weapon attacks you have. For example, my Death Cleric have reached lv 8, and may add 1d8 necrotic damage to their weapon attacks. I'd like to include that in the attack, at least be able to make a note section to display it.

Bah - missed that bit (damned family interfering with important streams!)
To be honest - the only part I want to hide is the notes. Seems an all/nothing option when something a little more granular would allow us to share stuff/hide the bits that might influence players.
im sorry. i just dont like this at all. i used dnd beyond cos it was diffrant from most character sheets u can find online. now its not much diffrant. it is very nice but i hope you will enable users to opt into using the old layout. please for the love of nerdness. just let us pick which layout we want
only thing I don't like as much is class features that have uses aren't as visible. need to scroll down list and mark as used for thinks like second wind/action surge/ bardic inspiration. instead of a section just for them they are tossed in there with things like spell casting, jack of all trades, song of rest and collage. things that ultimately you don't really need to see as they are passives and the changes already show up at other places.
Is there now, or will there be the option to rearrange the order of the attacks appearing under the "Combat" meny? I would very much like there to be so.
I print mine out, we don't sit around a table staring at our computer screens - only the GM and ONE of the players does (and that's because the player is a bard with spells). So now there's basically NO way to print this as a proper PDF if I'm seeing it right?
Glad I saved my prior versions before this change went live. This is garbage for anyone who wants to use them as a real paper tabletop page. :/ Sorry guys, this is a step backwards.
Give me the option to save as a pdf? I'll take it. But unless that comes back I won't bother trying to assemble any new characters with this.
I usually use my tablet in landscape orientation* (which was catered for in the old system) but the new style stays in portrait layout at all times. Are there plans to add landscape formatting to the new style?
Otherwise liking the way things have been restructured, good work!
*as that’s the way the stand works, feels more like a desktop/laptop, and also protrudes less into the playing area when lying flat on the table
I think it looks really good, and thanks a bunch for letting us add additional feats!
Is it ever going to be possible to add a separate section for rituals though? Aside from the utility it would add to prepared spellcasters... It would fix the fact that the ritual caster feat sort of just doesn't work in the current state of things. Which is a shame cause its one of the better feats for things like Find Familiar on non-wizard classes, or adding a touch of "I'm learning" to the adventure.

How do you get a one-armed goblin out of a tree?

Love this!
Would love an overview page were you gathered all Limited use abilites together.

I was under the impression that notes were hidden when you shared a character.

Okay, the new character sheet just takes a bit of getting used to. Why in the Nine Hells did you change the graphics on the rest of the site, though?

I'm not a fan of this AT ALL.

There is the option to export the page to PDF its in the drop down menu right by your character's name when you are viewing the sheet.
Where do I find this?

When you click on something and pull up additional details they show up at the top of the new sidebar that is created
