I'm going to have to chime in with others about the "improved" mobile version of the site. I tend to get a lot of brand-new-to-D&D (or to 5e) players at my table as "guest stars" who might sit in a session for a game or two. Used to be I'd just create the character in desktop then take along my tablet(s) for them to use as a character sheet. The ability to swipe between screens made navigating much easier for them than the current button navigation the revamp system uses. A new player might not have any idea if something I ask them for is going to be a feature, or ability, etc, and the new button navigation could be overwhelming. One of those newer players has joined my table more permanently and uses his phone for his sheet, so this is no minor quibble I'll only run into once every few weeks.
The desktop version of the layout is stellar. I'm really enjoying it. That said, I'm also probably joining a round of choruses (this thread was 30 pages when I started this) about missing info that should really be included on the sheet - Things like current sneak attack dice for Rogues is currently missing (or at least I'm not able to find it on a cursory overview of the character sheet, which is just as bad).
The PDF export so far is a *huge* improvement. Part of the reason I was taking my tablet for guest players was because the old PDF export was near useless- whatever time was saved building the character in DnDBeyond was lost going over the PDF and editing it to make the darn thing actually make sense. This is something I can actually print out for a player and have a good expectation that more veteran players will be able to glance at and be reminded what abilities they have on call and the newer players will actually have a usable resource that the other players at the table can help them navigate. The page reference in the Features & Traits sections and Spells is a very nice touch!
All in all, you guys have done a great job on getting this update out- I haven't been this excited about DnDBeyond since it left Beta and we could actually start using non-SRD info in the character builder!
The new PDF output is awesome, and a great improvement. However, I still don't see anything that denotes whether a spell requires concentration, or a flag for which ones can be cast at higher levels. Both seem like they'd be helpful, though the concentration flag is easily the more crucial of the two.
Can we have a gold manager like the XP manager? Because I'm lazy and just want to add 5gp and 16sp to my existing totals. For extra credit, have it make change when I spend 5sp but have only 1gp and 2sp.

Honestly, I've found nothing about the current layout of the revamp that I don't like. But some additions like this, ritual spells, wild shape, hunter companions, etc. are really all I'm looking for.
Great work. I know my initial posts list issues and bugs. But I think anyone would be hard-pressed to find an online character sheet as good as the one your team has come up with. If I look objectively, DnDBeyond has removed hours and hours of paper and pencil work from Players and DM. Gone are the days I need to as DM check and re-check character sheets for mistakes or misinterpretations with the numbers.
So just a shout out thanking everyone for their hard work!
Sincerely,
Envaris

One suggestion would be to add a "Death Save" to the saving throw section. Although there aren't many things that modify a death saving throw, there are a few, including things like magic items and the monk's diamond soul. It would be convenient to have this show up on the character sheet (including the printed pdf) to save time in trying to figure out what applies and what doesn't during a game.
The Barbarian totem for bear resistances show up all the time. when in reality it only applies while in combat. kind of wish there was a turn on rage button, then my attacks could get the rage bonus as well.
Love the new layout and it works very well on mobile. good job guys and gals.
Edit: Thought about it, I would make it a condition that way it can be turned on and off. and modify existing things like damage and mark str saving throw with advantage and add in any rage only powers.
Feedback regarding the "Combat" area of the sheet (most Device view)
1: Need the ability to move the order of actions-Alphabetical is not always the best for me...ex: I would like to organize concentration vs non con spells, damage vs healing, most used vs less used...I think you get my drift...
2: Abilities that can be used or activated as actions should be able to add to "Combat" without lots of customization...Like Healing light or Radiant Soul
Honestly I just want one place were all my useful abilities etc. are so that in the end of combat I don't say "Whoops I forgot about "X" because it was in a different tab/spot/location"
Hey guys I don't know if this has been mentioned before or not but the custom items when added don't get their weight registered when you put the value you want, and is there a way to add cost in SP or CP for the items I can only add it in gp
Regarding the Pact Weapon customization option: it currently does not factor in if you have the "Improved Pact Weapon" invocation. Any chance that will be implemented soon?
Things like current sneak attack dice for Rogues is currently missing (or at least I'm not able to find it on a cursory overview of the character sheet, which is just as bad).
It's located under class features:
Sneak Attack3d6PHB96
Once per turn, you can deal an extra damage to one creature you hit with an attack with a finesse or ranged weapon if you have advantage on the attack roll. You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 ft. of it, that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.
I agree it could/should be more prominent though. It would make sense to include it in combat/actions in addition to class features.

How do you do this? I've seen a few people post about making changes to the sheet with CSS. Is it easy to do even if you don't have a lot of coding knowledge? It you (or others who have made changes) shared the code, is it something anyone could just plug in?

Unsure what XIX did, but you can do some minor edits in Chrome by opening the developer console (F12 I believe). It is only available on your screen and then gets blown out when you refresh.
Wizards can cast both Unprepared and Prepared Ritual spells as a ritual without expending a spell slot... So it would make since that a Wizard would have a separate section for ritual spells.
Clerics and Druids can only cast Ritual spells as a ritual if the spell is also prepared. So it doesn't really matter to have a separate section for ritual spells for those classes.
Bards can cast any Ritual spell they know as Ritual without expending a spell slot. So it would not really matter to have a separate section for ritual spells for a bard.
I disagree; it makes sense for all these classes to have a ritual section. Right now, spells are organized by "what it will cost you to cast this spell"--nothing (cantrips), a 1st-level slot, a 2nd-level slot, etc. If Leomund's tiny hut is only listed in the 3rd-level section, it suggests that you have to burn a 3rd-level slot to cast it, when in fact you just need 10 minutes.
For clarification, because I may be misunderstanding what you are saying. Or you saying that if a Druid / Cleric has a Ritual spell prepared, then it should also appear in a separate ritual section to denote that it can be cast as a ritual? If that is what you are saying then yea I agree.
My comment on "it doesn't really matter if..." is just saying that the set of all spells that a Druid and Cleric can cast as a ritual is a subset of all the spells the druid and cleric currently has prepared so it "doesn't matter" in the sense that they can at least visually see the spells they can cast as a ritual.
For a wizard, though, currently the wizard's set of all ritual can be hidden in the spells known section since they don't need to prepare ritual spells in order to cast them as a ritual, which makes it quiet inconvenient for a Wizard.
I suppose I could have added more clarification, oops.
It would be nice if we had an automatic bonus action calculated for two weapon fighting when equipped with an appropriate weapon set (light weapon in one hand)

I think this sums up a lot of the problems quite well.

What happened to the equipment page? am i just missing it?
It's a tab in the center small window.
Really, that entire section, even if just factored out into four other windows of the same size would be vastly better than what it is today.

Because CSS edits are cool! Moving the large block of character details to the bottom is better with columns!
