Builder--very hard to select Eldritch Invocations from list without pop-up clues on what they do.
Sheet-- format of Eldritch Invocations is not useful. Should show full text easily (not down two or three click levels) and only show for ones selected.

(Replying to an earlier post about the language drop-down including "Telepathy" and other languages not available to level 1 characters)
Seconded.
I ran a character generation session with a new group last night, and most were using dndbeyond since we only had one physical copy of the book at the table. I'm very new to 5e, and half of the players have never played D&D at all, so none of us are intimately familiar with the rules. The last time I played/DMd was 2e.
Our high elf fighter insisted that "As a high elf, I can have telepathy". Lots of things have changed since 2e, so it sounded feasible if not a little overpowered. I looked everywhere for that ruling just to confirm, and could find no mention of telepathy as a racial attribute. I finally asked her where she saw it, and she showed me the dropdown menu of languages available to her through the character creation interface. I had to rule against it with the excuse that "this is a Beta and that must have slipped through the cracks". She was disappointed, but understood.
I want to gather all of the best information on Dungeons & Dragons in one place and make it easy to use. I want to make DM’s games go quicker and players to have the answers they need about their characters.
Not sure if this is the best place to put it, but it would be great if there was an option to download the character in a format for upload into Fantasy Grounds. Not sure if Roll20 has an import feature, but if so, would be great to support that as well.
I find that creating characters within the limits of what is available works pretty well at this point, but I really, really wish there were an option to just manually create a character by hand-entering all the information off of an already-created character sheet rather than going through the build process one step at a time. This would also allow me to use things from printed material which I have purchased, but which is not currently available on the site. Which may be part of why it hasn't happened, I suppose.
Is anybody noticing that around half if not more of the "Backgrounds" are missing from the choices in the character sheet? one of my characters is supposed to have the Urchin background, but it's not in the list of options.

For the beta, only the rules and options provided in the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion are available in Beyond. Once the full platform launches later this summer, the core rule books and others will be available for purchase, and the content within will be available for those that purchase, or have access through a DM's subscription.
I think the only thing I dislike about character creation is the starting equipment set up. I feel like you should just click it and then it should add to your character sheet. That is the only glaring issue that I can see, and even then it is mostly a me being lazy and not wanting to manually search for it thing.
Urchin is IN the the player's handbook though, shouldn't that be part of the basic content?
The "Basic Rules" are not the same as the "Player's Handbook" -- I understand why this is confusing. Most people would think the "basic rules to play the game" are from the Player's Handbook, and while they are in there, the Player's Handbook contains extra things that aren't needed to play the game (races, subraces, certain backgrounds, class features, feats, additional spells, and more).
The Basic Rules is a free PDF from Wizards, available herethat contains the rules of Dungeons and Dragons and the absolute minimum amount of information to play the game.
The SRD (available here, with an FAQ on what it includes at the bottom of that page) is an extension of that with spells and monsters that are the basic needs for playing the game. The SRD also has guidelines on what can be used for publishing your own content under the Open Gaming License (OGL).
The Player's Handbook has to be purchased and is not (legally) available for free anywhere.
So I haven't bothered to scroll through the 65 pages of comments, so this might have been mentioned already.
I would like if traits, flaws, and the like could be selected from the list that is shown when you choose your background. Also, that they should show up after you choose the background, not before.
Still have them customizable, but something like a "copy to" function would be nice. Or have a number of individual traits instead of one big text box where you could enter more than one.
u need to add unearthed arcana races and classes and/or Volo's Guide to monsters. Also, add starting gold or starting equipment

You know, it'd be really nice if the spells, skills, etc. in the list of Eldritch Invocations were tooltipped properly, like they are here.

But isn't Cirlce of the moon in the Base 5th Edition? It appears in my roomates players handbook

Found something, hope this has not been reported so I am not waisting Badeye's time 😁
Character abilities are not added to spells
Life Cleric: Disciple of Life bonus is not added to Cure Wounds healing amount calculation. Same with Blessed Healer.
Warlock: Eldritch Invocations Agonizing Blast, Eldritch Spear, Repelling Blast, etc. do not show on Eldritch Blast.
Suspect there are other things of this type I did not catch.

Here's an easy to use list of Unearthed Arcana from WotC if anyone finds it useful: https://www.learningdnd.com/resource/unearthed-arcana-list/
