Please forgive me if this has already be asked for.
I have been doing some inventory management on my created characters, and I was hoping the D&D Beyond team could look into ways to organize inventories, particular as my character might organize things. For Example, I might have multiple Backpack, Pouches, or Sacks with assorted adventuring gear in them, that my character could pick up and then go adventuring with. Another piece would be being able to store adventuring gear on a beast of burden, a follower, or in a wagon. If possible even having multiple layers for this storage mechanic would be particularly helpful. For example, left saddle bag on my draft horse.
That is, in fact, fairly high on the list.
Another thing I would like to see is spell components and focuses that are for particular spells added to the general adventuring gear. Examples being, a Crystal ball for Scrying, rare Chalks for teleportation circle, Diamond dust, Gold powder, ect. Being able to add these things to my inventory would be rather helpful.
Thank you for your time and effort!
That would be wonderful, especially if it showed a "you do not have the material components to cast this spell", but that bit would probably require a complete overhaul of the spell creation system.

The inventory stuff is currently their main priority so hopefully should be fixed in the next few weeks with everything you suggested
The materials they are aware about and will hopefully get added soon, but also most of that stuff you should only need a components pouch or a casting focus to cast the spell you shouldn't need to put every single material component in your inventory, just the ones with a cost associated.

Until DDB gets around to doing so, you can add those items to the "possessions" section (Found in the "More" tab of the Equipment section of the character sheet)
I been using DnDBeyond as a player for a month or so by now, and I have another feedback:
I think that it would be nice to save the "status" of a character when a session ends, so I can tinker with it during the week, trying different items, options, even "leveling up". And when the next session arrives I could "load" the character as he was last session.
I thought about this when today I opened my character and I was afraid of touching anything, because we ended the session in the middle of a fight, and my current HPs and Slots used are very important.

The intent of what you're trying to do will definitely be possible with character copying that will be available soon. Create a copy of your current character and tinker all you want without affecting the original character.
Longer-term, we would like to add the ability to have "milestones" or "save points" for characters where builds can be viewed at different stages of the character's life cycle.

Don't know if this has been addressed, but I'd love an option that worked through the starting equipment, like "Pick a martial weapon and shield or two martial weapons" then automatically adding things when there is no choice.
Also, the attack section needs work. Please add ranges to thrown and ranged weapons. And Cantrips. Also, cantrips obtained via feats or class features should pop up. What about save cantrips? They should be there too. Any at will attack or damaging spell should.

That's quite high on the to-do list.

There's a very big overhaul in the works that should address that, I think.

Any spell you have, you can set to display as attack. Click on the spell, click on the little thingamajig that says "customize", and check the box marked "display as attack". Last I checked, the ones from feats weren't scaling properly, but there's a good chance they've been fixed since then.

I'm pretty sure it's been said before, but i had my voice to displaying the gp value of equipment in the detail view. It might be nice to apply the cost to the current money of the pc.
I think equipping/unequipping weapons, armor, and equipment should be on the character sheet itself, so you don't have to go into edit mode to just pick up a shield.

You don't have to edit it. Just go to your inventory, expand the item and click "(Un)equip".
How about Unearthed Arcana materials? I want to play a Mystic in my next campaign.
from what i heard today it seem that will be something coming out but only after the Xanathar's Guide to Everything in november so it might only be next year

Next year is a bit longer than what I've been hearing. ;)

so you think the whole character creator and sheet revamp will be done soon ? + container + familiars...etc.... seem like it goes bit by bit they started with the background then they will move on on some other parts then countainer then familiars and followers etc... seem like they have just for that a few month of work.
Today he said the character creator and sheet they show us was far from the end product and even if he said it will be ready soon ... soon like 2 weeks 1 month 2 month hard to know what adam mean when he said soon very soon etc... thats pretty large.
Having that in work ... + entering the xanathar right now ... that probably slow down the character creator and sheet revamp etc... dunno how long its gonna take for entering that + making the backstory random engine once its out there will be bugs and other things to fix .. there is also all the errata not yet entered that imo should have been enterered long ago since some of those errata date from 2016.
If that is been all done in end of november ...because he said "we are having disscution" "its going to be after xanathar" it doesnt give them lots of time to do the unearthed arcana content like 1-2 month since xanathar coming in november ... then we are in 2018 so when i say next year i think its a possibility ... but i hope your right and all that will be done before 2018

Not sure if this is the right place - but the walk/speed for the Aasimar is showing 20 when the book has it as 30 when wearing plate w/ a min. 15 STR.
