We've passed this on to Staff, when there is information one way or the other it will be posted.
Please remember though, that the Tortle package is being sold to raise money for Charity via Extra life. I'm not sure why everyone here seems to think that you should be getting something for free that other people are paying for to help raise money for charity.
So is it your impression that we won't always be getting officially released D&D content here on beyond and that's OK? I'm glad it turns out we are getting tortles, but will we have to worry about situations like this in the future?

My takeaway from it was that mods don't always know everything Curse has on deck. It looks like the Tortle Package for DDB was already in the works when we started asking about it. Until I see them skip something, I'm not worried. That's when holy hell will likely be raised by someone. I myself am not interested in the Tortle Package except that I am a bit of a completist (?) and I'd like to see if there is anything in it that might be able to crossover without my having to homebrew anything. I love the idea that money will go to the charity, but if DDB weren't a thing and it were only available on DMSGuild, I'd likely have skipped it.

Nobody said that DDB will not release all the official content. For this package, things have been a bit "tricky" for the charity and before doing anything officially, DDB needs the "good-to-go" from Wizards.
But, all that said, I am glad first and foremost that we all together have here the opportunity to help less fortunate kids.

All official content will always be available on D&D Beyond - there is nothing to worry about here.
The Tortle Package was always going to be available here...we just had to wait to announce after various finance/ legal concerns about the donations were resolved.

I found something not sure if its an issue or not, there is the new monsters Decapus, in the tortle package supplement they mention another just in text:
Marine Decapus. A marine decapus is similar to its land-dwelling cousin, except that it gains a swimming speed of 30 feet and can breathe only underwater.
But I didn't see a separate listing or mention of it in the monster listings? Its not even mentioned on the Decapus monster page.

No, these minor changes for the monsters will not show as separated monster in the monster listing.

The release date was bumped forward to today again. Now that it is available on the DM's Guild, will you push the launch date forward?

Following, I just saw it available on dmsguild I would prefer to buy it here though.
I’m sure that it is going to take some time for the Tortle Package to be added to DDB and that is why we won’t see it until Tuesday.

If the Tortle package is available here and is a part of XGE, will purchasing it apply a credit toward the XGE book when it releases?

There was some release date jumping that happened tonight, and unfortunately our team had already started the weekend before it went down.
We'll be working tonight to make this available as soon as possible.
Thanks!
It's available for purchase now in the Marketplace.

Purchased! I suggest that the tortlez brooklyn accent from the tales series be treated as standard, like so- https://youtu.be/BT505wdTczw?t=873
edit: wait a sec, I'm in a rush but the tortle package includes the adventure location and guides for ToA, is that being implemented as well?
