Well...at least that is coming. Any news on being able to add your own items (non-magical), classes or races? I honestly just joined this recently and the forums are huge lol
Honestly the few creatures that have appeared in the AL are easy to add. The Lacedon is a ghoul obviously, and similar stuff, like the Fiendborne giants.

Races and subclasses are coming. Classes are probably not coming. Special mundane gear can be added to the character sheet via Possessions (under More in the Equipment section).

I think there'll eventually be something that will be added due to community demand, but given how incredibly complex such a system would be to implement, I'm betting (and kinda hoping, given how much time and effort it would require that would then detract from other things that could be done and implemented in that same time that would provide far better and more interesting and useful functionality) that it'll be a fair way off.

That post is why I said probably.

I don't know if this has already been asked, but what about the books I already own? Will I be able to send some sort of proof and receive free digital access to those books? Will future books come with a code to unlock the digital content on here? Or will I be spending an additional $30 for books I already own? Is there going to be a 3rd sub tier for $14.99 with access to all digital content? I would easily subscribe to that.
Will I be able to send some sort of proof and receive free digital access to those books?
Nope. There is no way to legitimately, beyond a doubt prove you bought a particular book and that no one else has already used that particular copy of the book to prove their own purchase.
Will future books come with a code to unlock the digital content on here?
That is unlikely. Because there is some added expense and difficulty to the act of actually putting unique codes into each copy of the book, a level of expense and effort required to make sure legitimate customers don't suffer from stolen codes, and the matter of fact that the price of the books would have to change to provide any compensation to Curse for their man-hours spent entering and manipulating the book data into the D&D Beyond tool-set.
Is there going to be a 3rd sub tier for $14.99 with access to all digital content?
There has been no indication that such a thing will ever happen. Also, such a subscription would be more expensive for the majority of users over time even if the user in question was intent on purchasing all of the content on the website and constantly maintaining a master tier subscription. If you can afford $14.99 a month, you can save that money each month and use it to purchase books one by one until you have all but one, then purchase the Legendary Bundle to pick up that last book and a 15% discount on all future purchases, with your book-by-book purchases all being credited towards the price of the Legendary Bundle.
You can get everything, and get it not only cheaper but without any kind of loss of access should you decide not to put any more money toward D&D Beyond.
Ok I have a question that may have been answered, but I don't want to scroll through 71 pages to find out.
Can we still use anything on this site for free after it fully launches? Or do we have to buy all of the content and a subscription for any of the tools on here to actually be accessible?

Everything that is free now will remain free.

Oh thank you. Didn't know about the possessions thing. Also, i meant sub-classes, not full classes. And happy to know races are coming as well.
Feats?

Any word if content from popular 3rd party providers will also be available on D&D Beyond? I'm thinking that books like Kobold Press - Tomb of Beasts, Frog God Games - Fifth Edition Foes and Nord Games - Ultimate NPCs would be great add-ons.
It's likely that many third party content will be able to be incorporated as home brew.
