Thalron extracts the ring of protection and potion of greater healing and offers them to Mara. He then stows his great axe to swap to wielding Sir Tristan’s great sword.
”Rest, Savitri. If we get out of this, we’ll do our best to notify your next of kin.”
(Recorded as +1 great sword, correct? Also, is there anything else useful on her corpse? Armor, ranged weapons, coins, anything else I’m not thinking of? Scrolls, etc? Personal items that Savitri’s family would cherish?)
So I’ll tell you this, once you walk through the door you all level up. So if you want to long rest and level up your characters over the weekend that would be good.

“Bah, there’s nothing for it.”Thalron grasps the basket of laundry statue and places it in the empty place next to common woman with apron statue. He grits his teeth as he anticipates a trap to be sprung due to his impetuousness.
Mara froze when Thalron placed one of the statues on the spot while she was in the middle of examining them. But when no trap was set off, she gently chided him by smacking him with a folding fan.
And with that he fades out of existence. Leaving you with the door cracked open and your former compatriot dead on the floor.
Waiting for the talking armor to leave, she dons some sacred vestments and picks up two folding fans, and incense to honor the dead while praying over the corpse with an ancient tanka poem
“WHAT THE HELLS?”Thalron shouts. He rushes to the smoldering pile which used to be Savitri. He kneels down and while holding his nose so as to not gag on the smell of cooked flesh, he probes with his great axe to see if there is any retrieving of Sir Tristan’s great sword, ring of protection, potion of greater healing, or anything else that could be salvaged.
Still very much malnourished, Mara collapsed in a heap after the dance, and lazily looks up to the approaching dwarf.
"Isn't this a bit too sudden, Sir Dwarf? Shouldn't we start with a dinner, perhaps? Why, you haven't even told me your name!"
But Mara picks up the items before he could protest. With one smooth motion of her fan, the items disappeared from his hands and she covered her mouth with the fan, hiding a smile behind the intricate sutras containing detailed spells stitched onto the lace and cloth of her folding fan. They glow, and the items became clean.
"I am Mara Itoyuyu," she says with a polite bow to the whole party, "I look forward to working with all of you, but don't expect me to go running into the front lines like your old teammate here."

“Apologies … Mara, was it? I am Thalron Moltenaxe. At your service.”
The dwarf simultaneously dips his head in bow while slightly raising his chin to keep his eyes on the newcomer. This has become instinctual after having been cold-cocked more than once while trying to show respect. The stocky dwarf stands about 4’ 8” and has to be about 200 pounds. His flaming red beard is ridiculously thick and extends to his belly. His weathered common clothes do not appear to be hiding any armor but do carry the evidence of past blood stains, stretching and mending from hard use. He has shouldered a sizable pack that has also seen much use/abuse. Fashioned along one side of the pack is a leather strapping system that currently holds a handful of javelins. Alongside the javelins is a deadly looking great axe.
He straightens and smiles, deepening his now obvious laugh lines around his eyes.
”Aye, let’s eat! Who knows how long we’ve been at it so far.”
((Sorry if my posts get pretty long sometimes, I like to write. If this is a problem for anyone, just please give me a heads up 🙏
Was just watching a video, and I wanna ritual cast Magic Mouth to scream "Eyes up!" if a creature that isn't my familiar or belonging to this part approaches us while showing their teeth and gonna cast that on the ring.
Unless anyone has any objections, I'll take the 5 gold and drag the Paladin's body to bury her back in our plane.))
Mara daintily picks up the gnome's ration with a fork of scavenged leaves and growth (which, unless you'd like it to be something else) and proceeds to eat it like a rare delicacy, enjoying every bite.
It’s not as if the sun has gone down; it’s more like the sun doesn’t exist here.
The normal sounds of life you would expect to hear is completely absent. The only sound that can be heard is the constant, cold, biting wind in the distance
The air is thick and humid, the smell of decay is all around.
You do not feel safe here.
Behind you, you find the familiar shape of the cave you entered earlier that day. Only it looks ancient; overgrown by thick weeds and vines. Broken down. Impassible.

This is all I had.
So, whatever Paladins would normally have. She probably had some gold on her.
10Gold Pieces
So you are all in the room, now alone. The void beyond the door beckoning you toward your fate. What do you do?
(I'm camping this weekend so feel free to bot me if needed. Progo wouldn't mind a quick rest before diving into void)
So I’ll tell you this, once you walk through the door you all level up. So if you want to long rest and level up your characters over the weekend that would be good.
(That sounds great!)

You enter the the void through the door.
Inside is black…
….empty….…
……silence…..
The world resolves around you.
You find yourselves in a dead forest.
There is no warmth here.
Desolate.
