Everyone: At that point a loud howl rings out across the tavern, as an ugly creature with watery green skin, and stringy black hair pulls itself up from inside the well. It bares yellowed teeth, blood dripping from open wounds where bat-like creatures are attached sucking at them. Three more of the creatures fly overhead. At the sight, many of the patrons who had gathered to watch the fight scatter.
From behind the counter Durnan sets his glass down and reaches underneath. "Troll!"He yells.
(also because I forgot to take it off the map the bandit by Phineas is gone. Phineas punched him real good)
The troll lumbers forward, throwing a table over and slashing at a cowering patron from underneath. It then leans down to take a bite out of it. Attack: 10 Damage: 11 Attack: 14 Damage: 7 The troll takes a chunk out of the patron, barely bothering to chew before it swallows. The patron's head falls back, eyes lifeless.
Jalesterseeing this shouts out "Everyone get to safetly. Upstairs or out of the building." He then moves to engage the troll, drawing his longsword and making two attacks. Attack: 6 Damage: 7 Attack: 10 Damage: 10 The captains attacks unfortunatly do little against the troll's thick skin.
Yagra's going to back away from Krentzspitting blood. He's too distracted to make an attack against her as she moves away.

Phineas looks on as the creatureemerges from the well as she hears someone cry out, "Troll," she turns to the imaginaryMallory, "what do you mean? Go to get it! I'm not going to dance with that thing, it will clean my clock and then some...!!!"
OOC: Just a wee bit of jester humor... good thing Phineas has had her action this round gives her a little time to work up the courage to face something like that... as things come back around to her turn. :)

Because a barfight wasn't bad enough? Unlike Krentz and his cronies who seemed to have a specific bone to pick with Yagra, this troll and his pals don't know Roger from the poor sap that just got chomped. He doesn't care to be caught alone in this corner, and he could go upstairs... but he knows damn well he'll be back down here to patch someone up before the battle ends. Should he get behind the bar, instead, to stay on hand for healing?
He hesitates, his natural flight instinct warring with his want to stay and help.

Siobhan will stow her shortsword on her hip and draw her bow as quickly as she can, taking aim at the troll, firing it and then moving up towards the steps. "Captain you should move back as well!" She calls to him.
Siobhan: You take out your longbow and fire a shot the arrow sticking into the troll's shoulder. It lets out another pained howl.
Krentzwants nothing to do with a troll or any of the things it brought with it, and is going to dash for the door, yelling at the rest of his squad, "Let's get out of here, fools!"

Dolar keeps his feet after that last hit, but definitely didn't expect such a big hit from a puny human like Blondie. The slash from the scimitar hits him square across the torso, turning him to the side. In desperation, he curses in Orc, his eyes once again burning with Rage, then turns back to Blondie -- only to see the thug running away from him.
Dolar turns around to see what everyone seems to be looking at, coming nearly face-to-face with the troll and three flying creatures. He moves towards the first of the small ones in front of him and takes a swing with his Greataxe.
Attack: 18 Damage: 12
(OOC for @piscescantus):
Could definitely use some healing if Roger feels able
Dolar: You take axe and cleave the stirge right in half, the pieces falling to the ground.

The continued efforts of the fighters ultimately make up Roger's mind for him. Some of these folks clearly aren't smart enough to get the hell out of here. He makes a dash for the bar, hopping over and finding a place to crouch at the end of it just past Durnan.
If Dolar is going to jump right into the middle of this new fray, too, he's going to need some support. "If it's not one half-orc, it's another," he mutters, casting Healing Word on Dolar.
Roger: You manage to scramble over the bar, much to Durnan's displeasure, and he gives you a dirty look for it but doesn't actually say anything. There are more import things happening, and you're concentrating on the battle and not trying to take his money so he'll let it slide. This time. Your words carry the warm radiant energy of Tymora across to Dolar whose wounds begin to close up some.
The six stirges attached to the troll have finally fed enough from it, and detach themselves. They are bloated after a hearty meal and begin to descend back into the well. The two remaining that hadn't fed from the troll are now looking for their next meal. One flies over to Dolar and lands on him, lowering its proboscis to try and suck the blood from him. Attack:11Damage: 5 The attack misses and the stirge lets go of its hold, taking back to the air.
The other one is going to fly at Jalester to do the same Attack: 21 Damage: 7 This one manages to sink its proboscis in, digging its claws in as well and completely attacking itself to the watch capain.
Durnan grabs his sword out from where he stashes it under the bar and climbs over the counter himself. "Cap and I got the troll! The rest of you get them stirges!" He reaches the troll and makes several ferocious swings with Grimvault. Attack: 22 Damage: 9 Attack: 15 Damage: 13 Attack: 23 Damage: 11 Attack: 8 Damage: 9
In the meantime Durnan lays into the troll, slashing several large gashes into the creature, taking advantage of the wounds already inflicted by the stirges.
The rest of Krentz thugs follow him out. Sylelor you would get an attack of opportunity, and then it is your turn!
"All will become equal now" | "Cause we're going to shout it loud, even if our words seem meaningless. It's like we're carrying the weight of the world"
Sylelor: You lash out at the half-elven thug as he tries to run by you and catch him right in the side piercing through the leather armor. He makes it a few more feet before falling, bleeding out. He is defeated.
Phineas, you're up. There's a hurt looking troll, a stirge attached to Jalester, and one floating near Dolar.

Phineas smacks the imaginary Mallory back, "I told you I am not going to dance with that thing!" As she struggles to summon up a Fire Bolt Attack: 5 Damage: 5 directing it against the Troll...
"Drat-it-all-to-hades..." she whines, scowling at Mallory, "now look what you made me do, I missed cause of you!!!" Turning and watching the bolt skip about wildly...
Phineas: Unfortunately the bolt of fire arcs across the well and fizzles out against a table leaving a singe mark but missing the troll entirely.
The troll will snarl in Durnan'sdirection, the deep wounds inflicted by the bartender beginning to close up. It's going to return the favor to Durnan, raking it's claws and gnashing its teeth. Attack: 25 Damage: 5 Attack: 10 Damage: 5 Attack: 25 Damage: 13
Two of it's blows land, it's claws raking across Durnan's chest, and its teeth sinking into his forearm as he raises his arm to try and block
Jalester, with a stirge attached to him, can do little to aide Durnan. So he attacks the stirge instead with his dagger. Attack: 24 Damage: 7
The Captains dagger slices into the stirge gutting the creature against him. He wrinkles his nose.
Yagra, backs up against the wall, taking the moment to catch her breath and make sure she's not going to spill her guts if she moves to take on the troll. She's hurt, but she's not dying, and she grins, looking in the trolls direction.
"All will become equal now" | "Cause we're going to shout it loud, even if our words seem meaningless. It's like we're carrying the weight of the world"

DOLAR
Feeling some of his vitality restored, Dolar roars at the troll, yelling "I'LL BE WITH YOU SHORTLY!" He's first going to take an attack at the remaining stirge next to him (still Raging).
Action -- Attack: 14 Damage: 17
Movement -- If Dolar kills the remaining stirge, he's going to want to get into a position that allows him to attack the troll...so he's gonna hop on the table. He sees the troll engaged with Durnan, telling the inn's proprietor, "KEEP IT BUSY!"
Siobhan:You back up the stairs loosing the arrow. It flies across the room sticking into the troll's neck. It howls.
Dolar: You destroy that stirge leaving it nothing but a bloody pulp, a stain left for someone to clean up later. Durnan grunts, having no trouble keeping the troll busy. He almost finds it amusing that this young orc is so enthusiastic.

Roger, for one, is less than thrilled about the collective enthusiasm in the tavern right now. People who get enthusiastic about brawling with trolls are usually the same people Roger has to chase down to keep them from dying. Fixing his eyes on the troll, he raises an arm to direct his magic at it as he speaks.

Troll:Wisdom Save 15 The troll starts to hear a ringing in its head, but it quickly pushes it out of its mind.
Durnan's there to pick up the slack. He brings Grimvault up once more to unleash a series of blows against it. Attack: 19 Damage: 11 Attack: 19 Damage: 8 Attack: 23 Damage: 8
Durnanmanages to carve into the trollreopening the deep wounds across it's chest and down it's arms. The last attack pushes it backward over the edge of the well and the trollfalls. It lets out a howl that ends abruptly as it hits the ground at the bottom with a sickening thud.

Dolar will take a deep breath as he allows his Rage to subside, hopping off the table and back onto the floor of the Yawning Portal. First and foremost a warrior, he knows when credit is due. He picks up one of the random cups from one of the nearby tables and raises it towards Durnan. "That's quite the sword you have there, innkeeper, and you are surprisingly quite the swordsman! You have a warrior's respect, though I must say it's a shame such a blade is unlikely to see any action outside of these walls! I would be honored to lay down my axe were you to offer your sword as a reward for today's battle!" he says half-jokingly.
He drinks out of the cup and immediately makes a sour face. "How foul! Some of that troll must have fallen into this!" he thinks.
He nevertheless raises the glass again to everyone remaining in the tavern. "And to all those who fought bravely this night. You, too, have this warrior's respect...and gratitude." He pretends to take another drink from the cup before slamming it down on the table.
He then proceeds to go to the bodies of the dead patron and the dead (dying?) thug to search for loot while everyone else unwinds from the battle.
