I have in mind an adventure for 3 - 5 players, from level 1 to around 13. The adventure will take place in the Forgotten Realms setting, starting from the city of Everaska.
Please, if you want to join, post your character sheet. I'd allow any official source material + UA.
Just for notes purposes, I am thinking a Mystic, not sure on race or background yet. I have also invited my coworker to look into this as well. He mentioned maybe a ranger.
Firbolg Magic: Detect Magic and Disguise Self (up to 3ft shorter). Uses Wisdom and regain at short or long rest.
Hidden Step: Invisible as bonus action until start of next turn or attack, make damage roll, or force saving throw on someone. Regain at short or long rest.
Powerful Build: Large for determining carrying capacity, or push, drag, or lift.
Speech of Beast and Leaf: Plants and animals understand my words, though I gain no understanding of them. Charisma checks to influence plants and animals at advantage.
All Eyes On Me: I attract curious glances, both friendly and unfriendly. Can be used to gain access to the curious.
Personality Trait: I express affection or contempt in ways that are unfamiliar to others.
Ideal: As someone new to these strange lands, I am cautious and respectful in my dealings.
Bond: Though I had no choice, I lament having to leave my loved ones behind. I hope to see them again one day.
Flaw: I pretend not to understand the local language in order to avoid interactions I would rather not have.
Equipment: Leather Armor, Explorer's Pack, Wooden Staff, Sickle, Dagger, Traveler's Clothes, Pan Flute, poorly wrought map, Firbolg Jewelry (10 gp), Pouch with 5 gp
SPELLS:
Cantrips: Produce Flame, Druidcraft
1st: Goodberry, Ice Knife, Entangle, Speak with Animals
I am down with teaming with filcat and madclergy if filcat is down with that
I am thinking of a elven priest of Selune and a member of the Harpers but sshhh don't tell anyone. Oh and I will take the Arcana domain if possible with Selune, if not I will go with the Life domain.
Name is pronounced Hoog-Fay, the nickname pudding comes both from his cooking ability, and his non-combative nature. Took Gourmand over an AS improvement
FEAT Gourmand: +1 to CON. Check for poisoned food/drink. Cook a meal for 2x add HIt Dice regain & 24hr adv on CON ST's
Stone's Endurance: 1/rest reduce damage by 1d12+CON(2)
Rage: 3/day +2 Damage. adv on STR checks and ST. Resist bludg, pierce, slash damage.
Unarmored Defence: AC = 10+DEX+CON while not wearing armor (13)
Powerful Build: You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Mountain Born: You’re acclimated to high altitude, including elevations above 20,000 feet. You’re also naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide
Reckless Attack: First attack with adv, also gives adv to enemy
Danger Sense: adv DEX ST against seen effects
Extra Attack: attack 2x per turn
Powerful Build: Large for determining carrying capacity, or push, drag, or lift.
Ancestral Protectors: Spectral Warriors as distraction while raging. Choose a target, dis on atk rolls that don't target you. Halve speed if they disengage
Personality Trait: I watch over my friends as if they were a litter of newborn puppies.
Ideal: A well cooked meal can solve any argument.
Bond: An Injury to the unspoiled wilderness of my home is an injury to me
Flaw:I have trouble fighting my nature, and sometimes go into a wild rage, often feeling sorry for the damage I have caused.
Quirk: I can oft times get squeamish at the sight of blood.
Blowgun: +4 to hit, either 1 dmg or 1d4 Poison dmg (DC10 CON ST)
Greataxe: +6 to hit, 1d12+3 dmg
Club: +6 to hit, 1d4+3 dmg
Halfplate: AC = 15+DEX (Max 17)
Tower Shield: +2 to AC when using. Large shield than can be ‘planted’ into the ground to provide cover for smaller creatures
Backstory: Growing up as an Outlander, meant living in the wild away from cities, technology and town folk. I learnt how to live in harmony with the nature and animals, only having to defend myself when absolutely necessary. Only killing for food and always respecting the food. Learning to cook with the wilds around me.
Opportunity put me as the guide for a noble, who then employed me as a guard, protecting and serving. Given my unique ways and knowledge, and my passion for cooking also meant cooking in my spare time. Being a well trusted and noble guard for the royals have meant seeing and hearing a lot of what is happening in the outside world.
Truthfully, I am squeamish with blood and don’t like to kill, I think my size and looks will hopefully be enough to deter enemies, however when push comes to shove I will protect at all costs.

Ooo, another filcat? I'd be open to joining if you'd have me. I can get you my character sheet later this evening (it's 15:11 here)
Madclergy, it is my pleasure. Yes feel free to post your character anytime. In a hour or so I will go to sleep, but I'll check as soon as I can.
Perfect, Standard array and equipment? Are we able to use all available sources?
Thanks!
For the ability score yes, either standard array or point buy system. And yes all the official available resources (PHB, SCAG, VOLO, EE...and UA).
Perfect! Thanks!
I'm very interested. I'm thinking of writing up a Firbolg Druid with the Far Traveler background.
Sweet.

If anyone has any suggestions for my original homeland, I'd love to hear them. My knowledge of Realmslore is a bit rudimentary.

As for me, I choose to believe that an extinct thunder lizard is running a game of Dungeons & Dragons via Twitter!
A firbolg? I would consider the Moonshaes to be a good spot.

I'm up for another run at a campaign.
I have a Goliath Barbarian ready to go around lvl 4. Can roll him up higher pretty easily.

sounds good, but how does one get 1k + posts anyway with only 2 PbPs? o.O
I might want to join, but part of me feels otherwise because of FR.
Just an average metalhead who plays DnD in his spare time.
PbP Character: Roberta Thalan, Void Beyond the Stars Otherside
PbP Character: Primus Eidolon, Eotha 2
PbP Character: Usmor Illiqai, Tomb of Corrosion
PbP Character: "Templar" Danver, You're the Villains
Homebrew stuff
So far we have:
Madclergy - Mystic
ElusivePan - Ruar - Firbolg Druid
Auberginian - Elf Cleric
DragoD - Hug Fe - Goliath Barbarian
HighLordDukanis - Rhys - Air Genasi Rogue
Shavarathspawn - Zyk - Drow Paladin
Seems like a good mix so far. :)

I'll take the fifth spot. I'll get a character whipped up in the morning. Definitely something rogue-y.
EDIT: I hate putting things off until later... It can be a flaw. Character posted.
