OK I updated the list and made the thread private. When all of you are done updating the sheet I will post the adventure hook. Also, once the adventure hook is posted, I would like to try to make the thread only for lines of character and combat stuff. For player-DM chat we go by private messages (I will make the group).

Backstory: Growing up as an Outlander, meant living in the wild away from cities, technology and town folk. I learnt how to live in harmony with the nature and animals, only having to defend myself when absolutely necessary. Only killing for food and always respecting the food. Learning to cook with the wilds around me. Opportunity put me as the guide for a noble, who then employed me as a guard, protecting and serving. Given my unique ways and knowledge, and my passion for cooking also meant cooking in my spare time. Being a well trusted and noble guard for the royals have meant seeing and hearing a lot of what is happening in the outside world. Truthfully, I am squeamish with blood and don’t like to kill, I think my size and looks will hopefully be enough to deter enemies, however when push comes to shove I will protect at all costs.
1st Tarsakh, 1491 "The grip of winter is slowly surrendering to the gentleness of a warm spring on the Greycloak Hills. The routes toward great cities, like Baldur's Gate and Elturel, are now open, but not without perils. The city of Everaska needs those routes because now more than ever. The second fall of Myth Drannor has caused many refugees from Cormanthor to migrate in that majestic city. You are at the Halfway Inn, the typical meeting location for those who are foreign to Evereska and are to meet an everaskan noble, whose name is unknown to you. You have been told that this person is recruiting adventurers to secure the routes. Your spirit of adventure, or the past you are running from, didn't hesitate to refuse this call."
All I know, is that this noble is a friend of my friend, whom I have been serving for sometime. As a favour, my services have been volunteered. I will guide and protect as required, I just hope that...
Clenching my ale mug tighter, fighting the urge to, well, fight. I leave the plate where it is, get up and move to a corner of the inn.. slumping down with a thud across from a stranger, I mutter, "backwards fool, I've been cooking for nobles for years. It was an offer of help."
OOC: I'm hoping I've randomly met one of the others..
"Yea, well he's got a point, plenty of people starving out there, food is food." Grym's higher register voice can be heard from opposite the Goliath. His head is hung low as he balances himself in a smaller sized chair on it's 2 hind legs against a wall, his medium length brown hair covering his face. He is fidgeting with a small mechanical object, it appears to be a tiny Raven filled with gears and cogs.
"Given you said you have cooked for noble families, I'm going to go ahead and assume you're not who I'm here to meet, and as much as I love meeting new people I am waiting on someone..."
Lowering my cup to the table, I breath and come out of my mood.
"As am I my little friend. Apologies for my demeanour, but all things should be treat with care and respect, and a well prepared meal can soothe even the hardest of men. Please, let my buy you a drink and we can wait together." I gesture to a barmaid for two drinks. "The name's Hoogfay puddin throlala, but pudding will do just fine. That's a fine little bird you've got there mr?"
Grym's head tilts upward revealing his nearly violet colored eyes as he takes in the full breadth of the man he's now engaged in conversation with. "Grym" he replies before lowering his eyes back down to his project. "...and the world is an uncaring place as far as I have found, and respect has to be earned or taken. Though I do agree that men are more complacent on a full stomach." Grym's finger slips and his tool gouges his finger, there is a charge in the air as anger quickly overtakes him, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1.." as he counts down the charge fades and he moves the bird away into his pack. He leans his chair forward so he is at the table, "You know, I will have that drink Pudding"
Ruar enters the inn, ducking low to avoid cracking his head on the lintel. Nervously, he studies the patrons, but grows more uncertain at each unfamiliar face. He shuffles quietly over to the bar and gingerly claims a stool.
