The monk, surprised that the bard doesn't follow the opportunity to tale their adventures tries to make a more clear history that Shade did.
"It seems that a necromancer had settle himself in the caves beneath Lance Rock. He was using his dark magics to murder and turn the people into zombies. We defeated him and destroy all the undeads, so you should be at peace now."
"I think I reckon who the strange fellow was he came one day demanding to be named lord of the red larch" he erupts in laughter "when he started demanding stuff without paying hahaha well...I've never seen someone run so fast I'll tell ya , never knew what came of him" he pauses for a second "We saw the smoke coming from lance rock, and everyone in the inn thought you were done, but not me,I can see you have something special in you"- Garland's smile disappears as he starts looking down to his feet and his voice deepens -"But I think we are far from safe, since you left two people banished no one seems to know where they are, they said they were lookin' for some folks from Mirabar, but I'm going off track sorry." He stands listens to song playing in the common room and takes a deep breath " that shiny friend of yours... he has sadness in his song" he shooks his head and claps his hands " well for what you tell me seems like you need some forget-juice, and I'll happy to provide" his smile returns to his face.
"I could really appreciate a bath " responds Taman with a smile. "But not before explaining a little more of those people who had dissapeared. They are from Mirabar you say? Where they last seen?" he really seems concerned for he thought that ending the "lord of the lance" should had stop the dissapearances.
"I only saw them here they took a little rest and have a meal here they really just kept to them selves, maybe someone else talked to them a little more"
Shade addresses the room as a whole, "Point me to who may know and I'll get your answers. It's getting a bit noisy in here for my liking. Think I'll head outside for a bit."

Shade gives a devious smile, "Takers? Or do I have to do the talking too?" The mask shifts subtlety to appear generally more attractive.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tarlin kept to the background during the conversation, scanning the room for anyone interested in the group, specially someone that avoided eye contact but kept looking their way. Those "believers" still interest him.
Whem Taman and Shade went to talk to Jafee, Tarlin looked once more at all patrons to see if someone shows interest in the conversation.
Shade keeps up thr casual conversation, posing as some family traveling companion to Taman. As they chatter, Shade's mind probes Jafee's like a thief in the night for any information at hand.
(Psychic Inquisition: Forceful Inquiry. Make a Wis save or a truthful Yes or No answer is required. Takes 2 points, so I'll ask a question at a time.)
After the initial niceties are exchanged for a few minutes, the conversation turns, "There were two that passed through recently going to Mirabar. *Did you speak to them about their journey?*"

As you, Shade, walk up to him with a new attractive mask on, Jafee looks up and in a drunken stupor and tries to straighten up and passes a hand to his head trying to comb it
- Any drink is *brrrp* welcome. What can I do for you sweet heart? - after a while of talking you drop the question, and scry his mind:
you see two characters siting next to him
- hello, we are looking for a group that should have pass through this town have you seen them?- says a tall figure with pointy ears and a soft voice dressed in a fine tunic.
-"ah yes" says Jafee in your vision a little less drunk at the time " they asked for directions to the main road so I told them were to go"
the vision fades as Jafee takes a long sip of ale.
"I saw someones, they were looking for a group I told them what I knew"
Tarlin you look around and see a lot of faces turning to your direction none of them of particular interest
"So why is it they are described as 'dissapeared' instead of just 'departed'? We were only gone for a day or two, so it sounds as though these two haven't been gone for much longer than that."

"It seems thay were carrying something important and never arrived at their destination, so the two soldiers were looking for them" Jaffe takes a long sip of his mug looks over at the rest of the room. "I was the last who had seen them aparently, I work at Waevulr's, they had a broken wheel so I fixed it and that wasss it" * brrrp*
"And don't you overheard something about their destinatio?" After he responses Taman says to his companions " Perhaps we could go near this shop, this place called Waevulr's and take a look. Perhaps we could find somehitng over there..."
Listening to the conversation, Bumble frowns at Jafee's last statement and turns aside to speak to her companions. "Two soldiers looking for them and an item they were transporting? I would think we should try to find these soldiers, as they should be able to tell us what their route was supposed to be, and what they were carrying. If we know that we might know where to start looking and why they might have disappeared." She hops up on a stool to perch on the edge of the bar. "Jafee, where might we find these soldiers? Are they still in town?"
" I don't know, haven't seen them soliders in while, I think they were stayin' in mother Yalantha *hic* house, If you wanna go with waelvur just follow the road and his shop is on the intersection , yalantha should be just a block away from here in the oposite direction *erp* sorry darling, better on the outside than on the inside i tell ya' " takes the last sip of his mug and looks around.
Shade puts a hand on Jaffee's cheek, "Thank you, dear. You've been a big help." Shade gives a sly wink, allowing the side of the mask to suddenly age drastically to an old crone before turning away and heading for the door.

Bruce was listening to the conversation and turns to the others not involved in the conversation with the man at the bar.
"That doesn't sound like missing. That is adventuring."
"exactly my thoughts" says Jaffee " but the group they were looking for were some merchants so I don't think they were much looking for adventure"
