Cliste shakes her head as nothing else happens so starts her slow walk to the boulder. Only one interesting thing happened...ONE.
Rea seemed to be trying something behind her and then somehow tumbled by and ended up by the boulder.
At that point, Cliste just marched up to the large rock that for her could have been a boulder for all the ability she had for moving it. She sits on it and looks at Rea.

"An idea we should consider..." Rea's voice trailed off, as the gears in her head began to turn. "What the hell, you're only young and stupid once."
Giving herself ten feet so that she could have a running jump, the monk leapt into the death-hallway with a shout of "parkour!" She planned to fly effortlessly, using the boulder and walls to push off from. Rea did not achieve this graceful maneuver, instead landing in a heap on the floor.
"Hey," she grinned sheepishly back at Reis and Lerikyn. "I think it's safe."
Impressed with the awesome display of parkour, Lerikyn makes his way passed the two ladies by the boulder and peeks around the corner of the hall.
He whispers a prayer to Mystra when he passes Rea and Cliste, but he trusts that his skull rolling passed them and into the corner was enough of a presence to set off any traps. Around the corner he sees...
Down the western leg of the corridor, Lerikyn sees another 45' stretch of the same style of construction. 10' down, there's a set of recesses to the north and south. 15' past those recesses is another set. Another 10' later, the metal-plate-and-obsidian corridor ends in a gilded bronze door in a matching style. It is larger than most of the doors you have seen so far and framed in ornate filigree.
Disgruntled that it rock didn't set off any traps, Kjørynreis follows Cliste as best as he can, making sure not to step too far away from where she places her feet. Turning the corner, he notes the recesses. "Careful, this could be a trap. Who knows what's tucked away in those recesses."
He thinks for possible solutions on how to overcome this new obstacle, but comes up blank. "I got nothing. I'm used to cracking skulls, shedding blood... and granting creatures mercy." he exclaims, glancing at Rea. He knew she didn't really approve of his bloodthirst, but he was trying really hard to get past that, and he hoped she had realized such in the time they'd spent together. "This sort of thing isn't my forte." he admits sheepishly.
Cliste moves to look around the corner. "Hmm, this is taking too long." She crouches down and quietly makes her way to the first recess looking for anything oddly different to stand out, but not going into any full checking otherwise.

Each of the recesses contains a bronze door, inset 5 feet, similar to the door at the end of the hall but smaller and without the gilding. As the scene gels in everyone's mind, this begins to look like a mausoleum for the wealthy dead. Likely the 4 smaller doors lead to figures of moderate importance and the 5th leads to the crypt of someone of great significance.

"Joyous. Five doors, maybe more skellies, but these might have better loot." She shakes her head. "Let me check all the doors for traps and what not. I'll start with the first recessed door on the left."
She didn't seen anything immediately with the door, but totally missed a pressure plate in the recess that dropped a portcullis down at the entrance of the recess. Noting it's falling she managed to roll back out into the hallway without injury or being trapped. She stand up brushing off some dust.
"Well, these guys might have worthwhile stuff after all." She sounds totally calm as if she hadn't just set off a trap.
Cliste lets the strength challenge by Reis, but the thing doesn't budge. She pulls out her thieves tools. "It might have some type of locking mechanism so it doesn't go back up by shear force, but nice try." She spends a moment looking at the portcullis and then starts working at a spot to see if she can get it to open again.

He grunts, and lowers the portcullis, allowing Lerikyn to first pass to the other side. "Don't go killing yourself, Lerikyn. I only have a few healing spells at my disposal." He adds, a tone of worry in his voice.
Once the portcullis is lowered, the door level pushes easily and smoothly. Beyond, you see a medium sized (15' x 15') room carved from golden marble. Its ornate columns, small statues, and central sarcophagus are cracked with age but are otherwise mostly intact. You see a few bronze-bound wenge wood strongboxes that look brand new. The lid on the sarcophagus is firmly fixed in place.

Lerikyn's eyes shine and he turns to the others on the opposite side of the portcullis. "Any objection to grave-robbing ancient dwarves?" He asks.
He steps through the door and remains there, calling out behind him. "Go ahead and try to raise the portcullis. Lets see how many of us we can get in here."
Reis attempts to raise the portcullis again, and feels confident about his effort, but it won't budge at all. This time it doesn't feel like a spring that's resisting him, more like it is locked somehow.

"Well it looks like it's a one-way street. I assume raising the lever will allow me to get back out. Shall we test it?" He asks, stepping back into the pressure plate and raising the lever.
Cliste watches the methodical testing with approval. "You know I don't have an issue playing burglar." She chuckles and winks through the portcullis at Lerikyn as he moves back to the lever.

Lerikyn closes the door and the lever locks back and there's an audible *click* as the portcullis unlocks.
"Well then, Cliste. This does seem more your field. Come join me!" He winks and waits for the portcullis to be raised before scooting back enough to allow her to join.
Cliste stops two steps in hearing Lerikyn and watches the skull's path down the hall.

"You're stronger than me," Rea shrugged in response to Reis. The monk watched the boulder roll, and the hallway proceed to do absolutely nothing.
"Apparently the rock couldn't do the same thing," she laughed. "I'm not saying throwing a person would be a good idea, I'm just saying it is an idea."

"Woah!" Lerikyn calls out when he sees the portcullis drop. "Mechanical traps. That's great!" He seems much more excited than concerned.
"Lets see if we can get this one back open. You up for some heavy lifting Kjørynreis?" He cracks his knuckles.

As the pressure is relieved and Kjørynreis lifts the portcullis, Lerikyn slips in and tries the door's lever. It doesn't budge.
"Oi, Kjørynreis. Lower the portcullis back down. Maybe it's connected in some way." Once it's lowered, he tries the door's lever again.
