Grimnir is sitting on the floor, placing his back on the boulder, catching his breath from this long fight. "Well, it seems that banishing it would require powerfull magic. We could head back in town and inform that the temple is secured. We need to see the priest of the city also for this story of ghost, and ask him to take care of our petrified Valrish while we are looking for a cure."
"Ah, you're learning. Good." I start heading for the exit. "If we can survive being near Demogorgon or Zuggtmoy, we can probably survive being near Ogrémoch's Bane, but I really don't want to test it any more than we already have."

"Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both" -- allegedly Benjamin Franklin
After catching your breath and healing up a few wounds, you leave the steadfast stone temple, and wind your way back towards town. The way West is blocked by rubble, so you trace you path back the way you came, eventually ending up at the staging area (Area 10) where deep gnomes were guarding the halls against elemental attacks from corrupted elementals sent by Ogrémoch’s bane. As you exit, there are a few gasps as the gnomes recognize you. Sark Axebarrel, the leader of the guards runs up to you.
"You survived! If that don't beat all. Did you find the Medusa? Did you kill it? Any sign of Ogrémoch’s Bane?"
Oorr: " The Medusa is not a problem anymore. Ogremoch's Bane is another story entirely. We did restore the guardian of the Steadfast Stone, but the Bane escaped and may keep turning stone beings against the city. Poweful magic is needed to banish it, magic we are not currently capable of. Be vigilant."
"With the Medusa gone, my gnomes can make some headway, and make sure the area is secure. We can handle a few crazed elementals. If you cleared out the temple, you'll want to report to Gurnik Tapfinger. Anything else we should know before heading in there?"Sark begins organizing his troops, checking gear, and forming ranks to enter the Rockblight.
"well, in the medusa lair, the creature turned one of our companion - Valrish, the dragonborn - in stone. Could you make sure he is brought back safely in town and protected until we find a cure ?"
"Itmight take us awhile, but we'll get your friend back if we can." With that, Sark commands his troops, and they march into the Rockblight.
You return to Gurnik near the Speaking Stones (Area 13) "I can sense it already. You have cleansed the temple. Thank you for doing what we could not. May Smoothhands blessing be upon you. With the temple restored, power has been returned to this place as well. Let me aid you in the coming battles."
Gurnik lays his hands upon each of you, bestowing a blessing. The blessing will last as long as you are in the Underdark.
You may each choose one of the following: Blessing of Protection. You gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws. Blessing of Health. Your Constitution score increases by 2, up to a maximum of 22. Blessing of Weapon Enhancement. One nonmagical weapon in your possession becomes a +1 weapon whenever you wield it.
It is midday in Blingdenstone. What do you wish to do next?
Born in the air, grew up in the air, Oorr would have never thought to feel and accept the blessing of the Speaking Stone. This was something new, alien but comforting at the same time. Earth and air working together to face the perils ahead.
"I thank you deeply, Gurnik."
Then to the party : "Well, the day hasn't finished. Should we go exploring again?"
"Thank you very much, Gurnik." Then, replying to Oorr. "What about looking into this Ghost story close-by and then have a visit to the priest, in the Ruby Temple ?" Trying to remember what the leaders of this city were saying..."There were also some problems about Wererats in the north of the city, if I'm correct"
Brox shouts after Sark: "Commander Sark, watch out! One of the Galeb Duhr warned us. He said he could sense Ogremoch's Bane freeing some stone statues that the Medusa had turned. He was talking about 30 drow soldiers. There might be others coming alive too. We came past two winged statues as well!"
When meeting Gurnik again, Brox bows deeply. "Thank you for trusting in me. We were able to restore the light by placing the hallow spell gem. Ogremoch's Bane still exists though. Just in another cave. We will have to return when we are strong enough."When Brox is up to receive the blessing, she hangs on Gurnik's every word. With deep gratitude she accepts the strengthening he is bestowing on her.
In reply to Grimnir, Brox says: "I also need to go to the Ruby Temple. I need to return the bones of that deep gnome that we found." Then she turns to Oorr. "I remember you taking that mouldy pouch. Did you find out what potion was in it?"
"Very well, Let's head for the house inhabited with a ghost. We'll drop by the Ruby Temple after. Gurnik, can you show us the way. Where exactly is this haunted place?"
Thankful and renewed by the blessing, you make your way to the residential areas (Area 12a) where you remember hearing reports of the ghost. You pass through several homes eventually come to a more run down area. As you round a corner, you enter into a room and notice a spectral figure rummaging around a fallen shelf on the floor. It startles at the sounf of your entrance, and turns a wrinkled, translucent face in your direction. "Mine! All Mine! Not Yours!" it shouts. It raises a gnarled hand at Oorr and points at him.
