After the event with the whirlpool, the waters calmed down quite a bit. It's been several hours of smooth rowing through very dark caverns. Without a strong light source, it's hard to see more than 30 to 60 feet ahead, but so far you've avoided any other obstacles. You exit a smaller cave, where the ceiling nearly touches the boat, into a much larger cavern. The walls and ceiling peel away, leaving you in complete darkness with no surroundings.
"Ahah, yes, we are close! Moments away my friends," warbles Shuushar in his fishy voice.
Everyone roll a perception check. At disadvantage if you don't have darkvision.
You cast your eyes around in the darkness watching for any sign of a city. You spot what appears to be a small point of light off in the distance to the starboard side of the ship. You can't be certain, but it looks like it's getting brighter, or possibly closer. Or both.
Grimnir, you peer out, and you also see the light, but you see just a bit more. Not only is it coming closer, it's coming fast, and appears to be attached to another ship of some kind.

OOC: We're sunk.

"Well said." Oorr helps to push the boat over the coast.
Unfortunately there is no coast that you are aware of. The cavern you've entered is so massive that you only see water in any direction, though your vision is limited in the darkness. You row as hard as you can in the direction you last saw some sort of land. The light is still gaining on you.
"Fear not, it is maybe just a scouting ship from Sloobludop that can guide us to the city!" shouts Shuushar, though you hear a bit of concern in his fishy voice.
Oorr: " I hope you are right. I go ahead to see it is so. Stay on the boat. " Oorr, first light a torch, then slowly flies over the light source, staying 20 feet above water.
OOG my gosh I am so awful at naming stuff...
Oorr: " Do you like the name Zippy for you? It has a nice sound..."
Zippy acknowledges that name is acceptable.
OOG Nice! Now, we are on the boat. What we can see around us?
