“I think Jairus was asked to deal with the goblins. We don’t have to go further here.”
“Right,” Jairus agrees. “And the I’m guessing even goblins would be afraid of this ghost, uh, no offense, mister ghost. I say we move on and keep looking where we won’t bother this guys, uh, stuff.”

"Flower meant no disrespect Master-Ghost-Person. Friend-Warrior was told there were goblin-people here. We just came to visit them. If they are not here then we can look for them elsewhere."
She looks to the others, clearly wishing to be somewhere else.
(Forgot to say, the innkeeper introduced himself as Garlen Harlathurl.)
He gets you all your beverages. Once you've been settled for a while, he comes over again.
"So what brings all you fine folk to this old hole in the wall?"
Meanwhile, at the baker's shop, Jarius finds Lorren Mangobarl to be a thin, energetic man. He doesn't have any useful information about the delegation, although he does suggest checking the taverns for travelers that might have seen them. He does, however, give you this tidbit:
"There's an opportunity I've sniffed out for ya, lad. I heard the Mhandyvver's little lass had a scare at a tomb out in the woods. Went an' checked it out, and what'd I see? A goblin!"
He pauses for dramatic effect.
"Ya see, I been thinking about that. My guess, the goblin's got some trap or summin' rigged, and he's guardin' some treasure or somethin'. Couldn't hurt to check it out if ye want some easy gold. I'd recommend you talk ta the little one's mum. Old bird runs a poultry, the one that looks a bit less well-kept than the other."
Jairus thinks back on it. He does not name the baker specifically, but says, "My source said a local girl went to the tomb in the woods, and ran into a goblin. Said there was a trap rigged, and he was guarding some treasure. Pretty darn sure they mentioned a goblin scarin' the girl at this here tomb. I guess I could have asked the girl's ma for more information, or the girl herself, but that sort of thing isn't second nature to me, talking to strangers and all."
"It seems like we have dealt with the goblin threat here. I suggest we leave this ghost to his duty and return to town. We still have Lance Rock to investigate."

"The trap and the goblins were dealt with but it's his honesty we need to question," Lasair whispers to Jairus and motions towards the ghost. "Your call," she adds then looks to the others for help.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Flower is pacing back and forth. Thinking. Suddenly she stops raising a finger.
"Flower has it! Friend-Warrior's source said A goblin. We saw a goblin. Trap was BIG goblin! Would jump out and attack when too close. Flower is smart. Flower agrees with Friend-White-Eyes. We should go to Lance's Rock. Perhaps Lance-person knows where bad stone armor people are. Flower knows rock and stone are the same. Unless roc is a giant bird. Then they are different. What do Flower's other friends think?"
Jairus seems a bit confused by Flower's words - as a general rule - but from the others he seems to now have understanding. "Oooh, so we already kilt the goblins they was talking about, and this is like a whole 'nother thing? Well shoot, I say we scoot off to Lance Rock, then, maybe warn the villagers not to be messin' with this here tomb as it's been claimed by sir ghost here?"
Lasair looks to Tyrael and Longen, "is this what we're going to do? We need to see what was bothering the wolves," she reminds everyone. The young druid still casting a curiously wary eye on the specter.

The specter regards you cooly.
"He was an important noble of these lands. I failed to protect him, and in doing so was cursed to guard his tomb for eternity."

"I...spirits are trouble," Lasair says and for the first time the druid looks nervous. "What did we hope to achieve here again," she asks.

*THONK*
Kethra, who had sought shelter behind the door she had just broken off, suddenly drops the door. Visibly trembling, she approaches the specter.
"I, too, have lost my master! But I have been tasked to retrieve my master's blade to put my village at ease and that my master can rest in peace."
The specter blinks in confusion.
"I . . .I am sorry you lost your master. May you have better luck than I had, lass. Nonetheless, you must leave this place."

“Right,” Jairus agrees. “And the I’m guessing even goblins would be afraid of this ghost, uh, no offense, mister ghost. I say we move on and keep looking where we won’t bother this guys, uh, stuff.”
"So, we're meant to be here to find goblins," Lasair asks Jairus. "Are there goblins here," she then asks the specter.
Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
"Yes, Ghost-Person, where are the goblins? We came to visit with some goblins. We met some outside but they weren't very nice."
The specter scowls.
"No foul goblin resides in this tomb. If you insinuate my master is a goblin, I shall repay that insult with your life!"

"I don't see any benefit in disturbing the body or ghost, nor any threat to the town. I suggest we follow Lasair to investigate the wolves."

(Note, Lasair wasn't given any specific location from the wolves. Just a general "the world is in trouble.")

"Sure, sure, the wolves, Lance Rock, I'm more comfortable with either of those than chattin' up this ghost," Jairus says. "No offense, mister ghost."
