Cor’avin closed her eyes for a split second and took a deep breath. She could hear her brother’s voice, reminding her that strength comes in many forms. She could hear Larken’s voice, telling her to keep that damn elbow up and prove wrong the bastards who thought they could sentence her to die. Cor was strong, and she was anything but easy to kill.
She drew back her bowstring, aiming at one of the skeletons (e7) ringed with purple fire. The rogue leye loose her arrow, which finally found purchase right in the undead’s ribs. (19 to hit, 12 damage)
Larken takes aim at a zombie pounding on the temple door (G7). He sees Cor's arrow fly true and says, "Now that's more like it." Releasing his arrow, it embeds itself in the zombie's head. These undead were resilient, so he holds his breath as he waits to see if it falls. (21 to hit, 14 damage)
Vistani lets a rock fly from her sling at the one who had moved up closer to the door (was in E7 is now in F7) and smiles as Cor's arrow hits and then her rock. She holds off on any spells for the moment to conserve what she has left and so far the fight seemed more stabilized. Two of the things were now properly playing dead.
(Rolled with advantage a 21 and did 5 points of damage)

With a fervent shout, Korine retains her focus on the zombie before her. Swinging the great hammer with all the forcecshe can muster in her battered condition, she feels the force of her blow shudder up the weapons shaft as it connects with the head of the shuffling, reanimated corpse.
As the zombies and skeletons finally begin to fall, the sulking shadow beneath the bridge finally moves. The strange blue-tinged flesh, claws and sharp teeth become more and more visible as lithely the shape raced around to Korine's backside. It lunged at her, snarling, face painted with dried blood.

Cor grinned with newfound confidence. Another one of the rogue’s arrows went flying, this one sinking right into the undead’s eye socket. The arrow went clean through its skull, and the zombie fell backwards with a satisfying thump. “And stay down!” She laughed.
As Cor'avin's arrow downs the zombie before him, Kulan turns around to deal with the threat approaching the two paladins from the rear. To his shock, a ghoul stands behind them. In response to this more deadly threat, Kulan swings his glaive down towards its skull. Though he misses the ghoul's head, he makes contact with the undead's flesh [Attack roll 12], ripping a chunk out of its shoulder [Damage roll 11].

Another arrow whizzes past Larken's head. He turns his attention on the skeleton and lets loose one of his own. The arrow smashes against its skull before pelting the wall behind it. (14 to hit Skeleton on F8, 16 damage)
Korine took her eyes off the skeleton who moved in to replace the fallen zombie and looked over her shoulder. Seeing that Kulan's blow hadn't slain the ghoul, she continued her rotation, spinning in place to bring her maul around in another strike at this stronger creature. It shifted as she struck, nearly dodging her blow as it had Kulan's, as wiley as it was dangerous. The head of her weapon takes it in the side with a satisfying crush of breaking ribs. She could feel the skeleton was close behind her. "Finish that thing!," she snarls to the half-orc, and turns to face the skeleton before it can attack her from behind.
Vistani frowns at the monster that came into view from under the bridge almost beneath her to attack the paladins from the rear. She only had one spell and one inspiration left to hand out, but seeing this thing she figured she better help Kulan bash it to a final death. She starts singing, first to put inspiration on Kulan knowing he had used the other to get into the fight in the first place. "May orcish might always overcome the scourge of undead." Then she preps for faerie fire aiming it at the ghoul. "And may this ghoulish sight glow with aid to my comrades."
(Meta: 1d6 for Kulan to use when he needs it, dex save of 13 for ghoul and others impacted with the new faerie fire)
Having taken a beating once already Korine is entirely on point and completely aware of her surroundings. She dodges another swipe from the ghoul, and a sword slash from the skeleton in front of her, alongside the effects of Vistani's faerie fire. Kulan is not so lucky. Now lit in in brilliant pink the zombie behind shambles forward and slams into Kulan's chest with a deep moan. One of the skeletons in front of Korine shifts, moves back to get a good shot at Larken up on the bridge. His arrow aims true and slips in-between pieces of Larken's armor, followed by a second shaft from the other skeleton close to the doors of the temple.
"Well, that didn't work the way I wanted." Vistani pulls out her last stone she had stowed with her sling noting she wouldn't find loose amo here. "Live and learn." She takes aim at the ghoul's head below her. The rock flies by the ghoul harmlessly and skitters to the wall. "Well, if we live I can get the rock back."

Cor fired an arrow at a fast approaching skeleton, the force at such a small distance taking its head clear off. The pile of bones crumpled to the ground. “You alright?” She glanced at Larkin worriedly, seeing the wounds that littered his body.
Kulan shrugs off the blow as he watches the ghoul fall. Within a second, he swings around again, bringing his glaive down on the zombie [Attack roll 15]. The glaive hits this zombie in the shoulder, dealing a serious wound, though not quite downing it [Damage roll 11].

Seeing the undead finally falling to the concerted efforts of the group, Korine turns on the nearest foe still standing - the same zombie that Kulan was facing off against. With a grunt, she lashes out once again with the maul, landing a solid blow into it's decaying flesh.
With over half of the monsters now finally downed, and members of the team both healed and hurt, the last remaining skeleton takes aim to fire--and the arrow falls flat just as Jilwyn arrives with Undril Silvertusk, a Priest of Torm, and Inete, the young Acolyte from the Temple of Savras. Inete pants as they finally arrive, and Undril stares at the beasts before her and let's out a sharp yell.
"Vile undead creatures--begone!" Undril made a sharp gesture and with a flicker a large, spiritual weapon in the shape of a hammer appears in the air next to the skeleton that attacked Larken. The hammer swings down upon the skeleton. It crashed into the skeleton with a sickening crack. The creature still stood, although it fumbled. From beside Undril Inete shrieked.
"Desist!" Inete yelled, and flicked her arm up. A wave of sacred flame engulfed the skeleton. When it finally petered away it left burned, brittle bones and a floating spiritual hammer above its head. As soon as they finished a loud, sudden snap reverberated in the area. The door to the temple now bears a large crack.
Kulan moves over the newly fallen zombie, rushing past the pillar [Move to E7]. Seeing the zombie out of the corner of his eye, he stops and swings his glaive towards it, barely landing a hit in the sudden swing [Attack roll 8]. The glancing blow still carves out a chunk of the zombie's flesh [Damage roll 13].

Jil was out of breath, but determined not to let that stop her. She could see Kulan and Korine, but not Cor and Larken. Worried, she ran forward, and spotted a zombie lurking behind a pillar. She froze, eyes wide. "May my sacred flames send you to your eternal slumber," she said, gripping her amulet in her left hand. A pillar of fire came down... and missed the zombie entirely. What?! Jil chastised herself. How could I miss so entirely? Am I really that... no! Please, don't let Larken see this.
Larken's heart skipped a beat when he saw Jil, flanked by what looked like two priests, running towards the melee. If another throng of undead made it through the walls, she could easily find herself surrounded. His first instinct was to jump down and protect her, hells be damned if the fall would nearly kill him. He felt a rage building deep inside of him, but held it at bay. Returning his focus, he lines up a shot at the spine of the last remaining skeleton. Letting the arrow loose, he sees the skeleton shatter into a pile of bones. "Lets get down there and join the others," he says. His voice is slow and steady.
