Felix finds a weak spot in Taban's defensive pose and stabs him in the side.

Irommek hits the front of his shield a few times with his hammer and flexes his muscles in preparation for the fight.  This one is going to take a coordinated attack to go down.

Stepping carefully and starting to circle the warrior, Irommek says quietly to Oniss, "When Brunella makes her move, light him up with some of that magic of yours and I'll flank him opposite the girls.  We need to end this quickly before happy hour ends at the tavern."  

Oniss retreats 30ft from Taban, noting his ferocity.  As he moves he tries a different approach.  Oniss casts the message toward Taban with a message hoping to distract him and give his more physical companions an advantage.  Oniss whispers into Tabans ear from afar;

"Behind you, you fool."

//OOC - DM decision but hoping that Message may distract enough allow others to roll with advantage on next turn or just next attack.  Maybe a persuasion, deception check or/and CHA or WIS challenge to Taban?//

(OOC not super clear to me how the flanking works, let me know if I'm doing it wrong. Rolling with advantage assuming flanking, but if that was the wrong thing to do just use first roll)

"What the hell are we doing here? We aren't debt collectors, we should be out in the jungle! Enough with this time wasting crap!". Brunella smacks the man with the flat side of her broadsword, wanting to end this fight quickly and non lethally so they can get to their real business.

Attack: 22 Damage: 13

OOC Yes with flanking two of you get advantage.

Brunella's attack hits really hard. Taban finally show some expression of pain! But he still stands.

Taban is also distracted by a voice. A voice that only he seems hearing. Irommek have a great opportunity to take a good strike.

As she hits the man in the side of the head with the flat of her blade, Brunella fumes. "I did not come here to be your money collecting enforcer, Gertrude! You said you needed my help, and I came to your aid. You waste my aid for this?". Brunella is pissed off.

Seeing a small weakness in his defenses and taking advantage of the distraction, Irommek moves into a flanking position and tightens the grip on his hammer, “Dwarf’s Kiss” and takes a swing at the back of Taban’s knees…which is chest height for Irommek with the size difference between the two.

Taban accepts the blow with clamped jaws. He underestimated this lot. It is time to take the combat to another level.

Gertrude swings her Greataxe over her head, turning it sideways in the last second to administer another non-lethal blow.

 "Give us the money owed and we're on our way! Then the great Taban gets to fight another day...." 

Gertrude shoots an angry glance at Brunella, following it up with: "If you don't want to be here, go home. I like a good fight. It's a good training for the jungle. See it as practice! Or leave, we're fine here without you..."

Another grimace of pain shows up on Taban's face.

Kurma stay away from the fight and keep concentrating on his spell. He throws another blast of light.

Radiant flames come out of thin air and burn Taban's face.

OOC Geez, two misses with a +7 attack modifier?? 

Taban hits just the air. Either he is joking or a scam.
