Kurma turn to the rest of the group: "We have to help them, look how desperate they are. And if altruism is not enough think that they might have some useful information they might gladly to their savior."
"So what do you suggest? For us to camp here and find food for them? This will slow us right down. They are completely lost... I wonder if they ever had a guide..."
Turning to the explorers Gertrude shouts out: "Is Ford Beluarian a 'Order of the Gauntlet' strategic post? Or is it abandoned as well? What happened to you?"
The seeming leader of the group answers Gertrude questions: " Fort Beluarian is run by the Flaming Fist. It is certainly not abandoned, aside Port Nyanzaru is one of the safest places in Chult. We meant to go checking Camp Righteous, but we got in a fight with undead creatures. We barely survived and we have lost any hint of our location."
Gertrude pulls her canoe to shore, the others jump out to help her. She will still be mistrusting, keeping everyone in her sight and her weapons near...
"We'll help you and put you on the right path back to Port Nyanzaru. And you tell us everything you know about the jungle and its dangers around here..."

"We will. I can't express how grateful we all for your assistance. Thank you."

The explorers sound very truthful to Kurma.
Musharib first makes a small campfire on the shore, then he goes off to find fruits and other edible plants (If Brunella goes foraging, Musharib goes with her).
The explorers after devouring some food and drink gallons of water explain to the party who they are and what their mission is. They have been hired by the Flaming Fist to map the unexplored jungle to city lost cities. Their first mission was to reach Camp righteous, which was once run by the Order of the Gauntlet, by it is supposedly abandoned now. They never got that far, being ambushed by undead: both humanoids and dinosaurs undead.
Another encounter they barely escaped is with pterafolk, which are some flying, pteranodon-like creatures. They like to follow humanoids for hours and then when their guard is down, attack them from the air, with ranged weapons.
"The pterafolk a tenday ago. We were following the River. They forced us to take cover into the deep jungle. There we got lost a few days later, couldn't find food or water and got attacked by the undead. And here we are, begging food from strangers..."
Irommek listens to the lost party intently and then offers some of his Taj to help with their nerves after they have eaten.
“Yes, I would like to hear more about the undead dinosaurs and Pterafolk. Have a drink with me and tell me if you learned any tactics that may be of help to us if we encounter these creatures.”
"Undead have an unnatural endurance, but they are slower than their living counterpart. Ranged attacks work really well. Pterafolk like to attack from the air and eventually dive to scare their prey. If you have any magic to take them from the ground to have some chances."
Brunella knows the properties of the Ryath Root. She once used it against a nasty dwarf who was bullying her.
Ryath Root
Any creature that ingests a ryath root gains 2d4 temporary hit points. A creature that consumes more than one ryath root in a 24-hour period must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or suffer thepoisoned condition for 1 hour.
Brunella takes the Ryath roots and puts them aside with the wakku nuts. These might be useful later, she thinks.
The rest of the food she gives to the party of lost soldiers.
"The pterafolk will be a problem", shesays, "as the open river will not provide protection. Javelins are not good either. We will need a skilled bowman, unless the half-breed can use magic to attack. Our best bet may be the cover the jungle in case we encounter them."
"I have some magic, but by leaving the river do we not expose ourselves to many other dangers? May it be best to continue down the river while sticking closer to the shore line? Speed and some protection, best of both worlds."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Felix will keep his eye on the other group and won't say anything keeping his hand on his rapier. He will keep his eye's open for anything that might still be hunting them.

OOC: can't post anymore tonight. Will reveal to them that I'm flaming fist ✊, but not my rank. Sorry...
Oniss listens to the parties stories and thinks to himself, 'undead dinosaurs? pterafolk who hunt to no ends, I may have gotten in over my head?'
He then says to the lost party,
"When did you last see any of these dangers you speak of?"

More lost cityfolk. They never learn. Brunella shakes her head. She goes to the jungle with Musharib to hunt small game and gather fruits and roots.
