Boo and Lenlieth succesfully move the beam off the woman, but a section of the roof falls behind them, not hitting anyone, but the rest of the roof creaks, as if unstable. The woman looks at the two of you "Thank you, but I think my leg is broken." As you look at her leg you can see that the beam crushed a portion of her lower leg.
Boo with Lenlieth's help will clean and wrap the woman's injured leg as best they can. Boo will try to calm and comfort the woman, "I know you are in pain but we need to get you down from here before the roof caves in, so please hang on as best you can. Then we will see about getting you to a healer for attention and assist you in finding your children." Once they have her stabilized Boo a Lenlieth will use the rope to lower her to the ground seeing to it she does not put any weight on the leg itself. While they are doing that Boo will ask Primrose to quickly check the building to make sure there is not anyone else that needs help.
GB notes Lana notch her bow, takes a long drink of his wine skin and drops it. He gracefully jumps off the cart and glides closer to the home where they stand.
"Finally, something vile for GB to rid this plane of."
"It looks like you've got this," says Lenlieth, bounding down to the ground and tugging on the rope to make sure it was secure. It was then that she heard the voice of a creature yelling in draconic...
// I'll run over and join in battle whenever you deem appropriate, DM, and here's my initiative roll: 6 //
Boo and Lenlieth manage to get the woman onto the ground and lay her down, her leg secured in a makeshift splint. Primrose travels through the building and finds nothing else of interest inside. As Boo is tending to the woman she begins crying again and murmuring "Those poor children" over and over through her her sobs.
//We will start the combat once I get Aregarak's initiative. Since your roll was so Lenlieth, I say that you're last in initiative and that is due to you running across the square to meet them//

As Boo is tending to the woman she begins crying again and murmuring "Those poor children" over and over through her her sobs.
Boo and Primrose will stay with the woman and tend to her letting the others deal with whatever they have encountered, Boo looks at the woman and speaks softly, "I want to help you and your children but I need to know what happened... please open your mind to me, think of your children and what happened to them."Holding her close Boo uses her Helm of Telepathy to Detect Thoughts of the woman, what happened to her children hoping the woman will trust her enough after helping her to let her inside her mind, her memories to better understand what has occurred.
//Ok, so Lanea goes first, then Kobold1, GB, Aregarak, the other kobolds, then Lenlieth//
Boo, you see the image of kobolds grabbing children and carrying them out of town, while a swarm of warrior kobolds came in and started to burn any building they could reach. Then the woman looks at you and says, "You saved me, you have to go save the children. They took the children!" She then starts to cry again, and you can tell that trying to read her mind won't get much more information out of her due to her distress.
Boo holds the woman, cradles her... "my name is Bipity Bopity Boo but everyone just calls me Boo... what is your name then? I know now that the kobolds took your children... other children and I promise I will help them... find them... return them to you but first let's take care of you, alright? Is there a temple or healer in this town I can help you get to where they will see to your injuries? You can put your weight on me and I will help you there... just don't put any weight on your injured leg and take it slow."
//Boo with Primrose keeping an eye out will help get the woman get to safety with others who can look after her better than Boo is able to.//
Lanea's arrow is deflected by the large Kobold's shield, he charges forward and takes two stabs with his spear, one at Lanea and one at Aregarak.
Attack at Lanea: To hit: 14. If it hits it does 4 piercing damage
Attack at Aregarak: To hit: 9. If it hits it does 2 piercing damage
Boo, the woman manages to mutter something about the temple, and points at a large building towards the end of town with a tall steeple. You can see that areas of it look burnt, but it doesn't look structurally damaged.

Boo looks towards the building, "Alright then let's get you up and moving, the sooner we get you there and safe the sooner I can see about your children."Boo tries to keep her mind on her children away from the pain and slowly helps the woman up walking her slowly towards the temple.
//If the woman is unable to stand or walk with Boo's assistance then Boo will have Primrose stay to guard and watch over the woman while Boo heads to the temple alone to see if she cannot find a stretcher and someone to help her transport the injured woman to the temple for care.//
//Lana, I don't think there is an option to dodge there since you didn't take any special action to do so on your turn, so I'm pretty sure it's just the attack versus your AC. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.//
Boo, you allow the woman to lean on you and and you two begin your walk to the temple, her leaning heavily onto you as you walk. By now she is still obviously distressed, but has almost stopped crying

Yeah, not unless she has the Uncanny Dodge feature or something.

Once Boo gets to the temple she will explain what happened and place the woman into their capable hands. If possible Boo tells one of the clerics, "she keeps talking about the Kobolds taking her children." And then asks, "did they take other children in the town as well?"
//if I understand the Kobold are in the building and Lana and Aregarak are in the doorway to the home. Are there any windows for me to have line of sight or do I need to enter the house?//
A couple of priests run out to meet you and they takethe woman from you, carrying her inside while a priest in ornate robes comes out, obviously the man in charge of the temple. He looks at Boo and answers her "They took all of the children. They took them and ran off to the hills, leaving us to deal with the flames and the deaths."
//Yes, they are blocking the doorway. The only open entrance is a window on the second story, and you can fly through there if you'd like//
Boo looks at the Cleric with concern, "why would they take all the children? Is this the first time this has happened or has the town had a history with the Kobolds? My friends and I helped to protect some wagons delivering goods to the town. While I cannot speak for them I promised this woman I would do what I could to help her to find and return her children."
GB notes Lana notch her bow, takes a long drink of his wine skin and drops it. He gracefully jumps off the cart and glides closer to the home where they stand.
