This would be such a cool thing! Most of my play is AL and if I could have all my character sheets, and charted progress together I would be super happy.
I am not a subscriber now but I have bought every rules compendium. If they implemented this feature and made it only available for subscribers, I would subscribe. This is a much needed feature, especially for those people playing regularly. So adding features to draw in subscribers would be smart on their part. This pays for the development.

I would also really like to see the ability to have a journal/AL log sheet added to Beyond. I participate in both AL and non-AL games, and it would be great to keep all of that together and in one place to keep track of it.
Furthermore, in AL games, if you receive a magic item, the DM needs to sign the log sheet stating that you received the item, it would be great if that could also be done through Beyond (if both DM and player were on Beyond, the DM could digitally "sign off" on the magic item receipt).
Sooo, how is this done now on Roll20/Fantasy Grounds?
Back in the old RPGA days, when I ran game days online, we just got everyone's physical address and sent out the copy to them or scanned it in and emailed it to them.

I just want to tell everyone "happy gaming" and actually mean it. Whatever your game is, just have fun with it, it is after all, just a game.

Whenever I play it's been honor system.
It's always on the honor system and this wouldn't change that. Roll20 facilitates gameplay, not character tracking. With both of those solutions, you still have to keep track of your characters. I assume FG is the same. DDB character solution allows you to keep track of your character information regardless of if you are playing an online game or a live game. Adding the DDAL tracking information just expands that capability to include the session tracking that is required for league play.

As someone who does Operations. All that integration is a lot of work with very little return. I do think the D&D AL website needs some major overhauling. The DnDB team is going to be heavily constrained by the fact that the AL team probably doesn't have a good API... or one at all. I think D&DBeyond only needs very minor tweeks to help support AL play.
I do know that future release is going to add more support for Familiars, which I'm excited about. I'd like it to support the +1 Rule. This will still require you to own or have your DM own the PHB and +1 material on DNDB. As someone who plays a Caster in a AL game, I'd love to be able to Filter my spells available (or anything) by my +1 Rule.
I wanted to revive this topic to see if anyone had heard an update from the developers about whether Adventure League character management was on the roadmap and, if so, how far out it might be.
Hi Jason, it's been mentioned on the developer Q&A stream and in other places on the forums, but probably not that easy to find, so don't worry. :)
Wizards of the Coast are making some changes to how AL play works, which will be announced sometime this year (I don't know what any of those changes are).
Curse are waiting until those changes are finalised and announced before developing a solution for AL play on D&D Beyond, otherwise they would spend a bunch of effort adding AL functionality, only to have to potentially throw it all away and start again.

Yep- based on what I've heard- it may turn out to be an amalgamation of the Xanathar's system and the current system. It's still up in the air though.
This is actually one of the things that I am most interested in. I almost exclusively play AL and have really enjoyed using D&D Beyond....but it would be nice if the whole thing was integrated.
I am assuming that when the new character sheet is rolled out that we will see lots of issues (like the lack of familiar/animal companion pages, and incorrect Life Cleric abilities) will be fixed and MAYBE we will see some new capabilities such as AL integration.
Fingers crossed!!!

Adding an additional voice to state I am very interested in an Adventurer League sheet.
As am I.
This is something that I, too, would like.
