Does anyone know of a good holiday series, or a good one off adventure for Halloween and/or Christmas? I’m looking to do a small fun themed night to celebrate with our group.
I wonder if you could do something like the Nightmare Before Christmas where there are portals that go to different holidays. And each could be getting harder and harder the better the holiday is.
I remember this one called (at least I think it's called) the Witch's Bog. A good hag hunt made with Halloween and the Blair Witch in mind. I'll see if I have a pdf floating around in my box. Can't help with Christmas, though.
You could do something of a murder mystery sort where the players are investigating why bunch of kids die every Christmas and at first they think it's Santa, but then they find it it's Krampus. It doesn't necessarily have to be a murder mystery but something along those lines could be cool.

Yes! This is exactly what I had in mind. Would be cool if Wizards had some official holiday stuffs.
Not as fancy, but if you want something easy, grab the Death House pdf preview from the Curse of Strahd adventure. Basically a haunted house for adventurers.

For a little bit yeah, it would be cool so it would be easy for casual D&D players to just be able to grab it and have a really good time with friends. But in my experience as a DM, collaborating with people always has a lot more value to the story than an overpriced book.
