Looking to see what other DM's are doing. This actually came up twice in one session.
A player has disadvantage on attack rolls due to Drow Poison - They roll first attack and get a natural 20.
As it was a critical on first go, I decided just to let them have the critical hit. Is this correct? Or do they still roll the second die and take the lowest roll?
Hello all,

Cheers, Tom
Unless they roll another nat 20, it will be the lower roll.
The player needs to roll a second time and take the lowest roll.
Thanks. Reading the rules as they are it makes sense. Was just curious about the critical hit element but all cleared up!
I'll let them know. Thanks again.
