Chronicles of Eon: Eon: Survival at Sea (Approaching End Game) Dungeon Master Eon: Scorched Skies (The Story has just Begun) Dungeon Master Eon: City Of Graves (Summer/Autumn 2019) Dungeon Master
"Drinks comin up" A burly half-orc yelled from across a Low lit tavern. It was practically barren inside, Save for a Tiefling Rogue, a Half Elf who seemed to enjoy working on his "Gun" and another Half elf who hummed quietly. This unusual group of people were well known in this tavern, as members of the Take they usually drank for half the price. Your feet are sore from a long day of hunting, But after some time you did manage to bag your quarry. Tho not without losing one of your own, a man you had all grown close to during your time together. While he wasnt the Brightest Man you had met, he sure could take a punch. It was for this you had all decided to grab a drink, To toast his memory. " 'Ere ya are lads, Tis the finest ale we got" The Half Orc sneered as he dropped 3 large tankards of some sort of liquid in front of you.
Edit: AmazingAmazon, BeancuredHero and FishCandy are the Players. Story was made for 3 players. "Not the Brightest Man" You Knew him as Lomin Kael.
Chronicles of Eon: Eon: Survival at Sea (Approaching End Game) Dungeon Master Eon: Scorched Skies (The Story has just Begun) Dungeon Master Eon: City Of Graves (Summer/Autumn 2019) Dungeon Master
Sayre takes her tankard looking at the mystery brew and sniffs it before setting it down untouched. "Shame we lost Lomin today," she calls out to the half-elves with a sigh sounding vaguely remorseful. "I wonder who they're going to add to the party now," she asks her two companions. "Isn't that how this works? They assign us someone else? I mean I've been with you guys so long I can't remember," she quips wryly before fishing a deck of cards from her cloak's inner pocket and begins shuffling them absentmindedly while keeping an eye out on the room's occupants.
Frilavor finished cleaning his gun and took the ale and took a swig " well personally I say we could have lost more and I don't really know how these groups work I've never really been a part of one before " he smirked " it feels good "
Victor smiles at the gunslingers sentiment, f“He will be well remembered, did his best and forged his own fate. Good man.” Victor said seriously and with respect. “And bless him for giving up a good reason to have too much to drink!” He raises his glass again and takes a big sip, the familiar mischievous grin returning to his face.
“They could replace him, may take awhile though. Or they will just leave it the three of us. Fine by me, makes the cuts bigger. Hard to say with a group like the Take… wonder what we will be hunting next… never seen a real hydra in the flesh, sure would love to see one of those.” Victor often rambles on about old stories of adventures, often getting side tracked about how his approach would surely have been better, and how he and his friends around the table would be victorious.
Sayre you notice the Door of the the small tavern creaks open as a Elderly Human male enters. While he does not approach you, He does glance in your direction. You know him, He is a Member of the Slayers take as well. It takes you a minute to recall his name, "Locke Feld" A Well respected member of the take. He is known for taking on contracts that are deemed too dangerous for the other members. He sits at the bar and flicks a coin to the bar keep, Whispering something to the half-orc.
While this happens another Being, Out of breathe races into the tavern. This is Fredric, the messenger boy. You only know his name because he is often employed by Huntmaster Vanessa to give you a summons. Short black hair, a Face covered in freckles with somewhat worn and dirty clothes. It's obvious he does alot of running from the state of his worn boots. He approaches your table while fishing threw a small satchel that is hung from his shoulder. Producing a single scroll with a wax seal, The Seal of the Take. "Ere ya are lady and gents, That'll be 2 gold for delivery." He stretches his hand out, waiting for payment.

Victor produces 4 gold from his pocket and gives it to the boy "make sure you spend the extra on something exciting." He winks at the kid and lets him leave the scroll on the table.
"Just as our valiant Heroes thought they had the night to themselves, mere moments before Sayre was sure take the lions share of Victors earnings in game of cards, Fredric the Wise, a hero in his own right ... but that's not this tale, NO! Fredric came barring the next string to be woven into the great tapestry of their lives." Victors takes another drink, one he probably didn't need at this point and looks to Frilavor, "a bit heavy handed?"
"Thank ya Sir, Thank ye ever so much!" Fredric stuffs the gold into his satchel and runs off, leaving the tavern as quick as he had arrived. The Scroll is laid before you all on the table. It is woven tightly together by a single piece of leather and Sealed with wax bearing the mark of the Slayers take. The seal is unbroken.
Victor, Its at this point you remember that Fredric is always payed by Vanessa before he sets out, Not after and never by members of the Slayers Take.

Sayre breaks the wax seal and unfolds the scroll. It is in Murtin's hand, something you are at this point familiar with. It Reads
"Sayre,Frilavor and Victor. Im sorry about your Friend Lomin, He was a good man and he will be missed among our ranks.
Naturally his share of the reward will be split among the 3 of you. After the Takes share and the price of those Healing potions you had in advance; It comes to 450 Gold pieces each. Lomin would have taken a job right away if one of us would have fallen," she adds standing up from the table, having never touched the ale on the table, but now looking towards the exits ready to leave.

"If it weren't for easy marks, I never would have worked up the courage to achieve anything more than a Courier myself. The kids bounty was well earned." Victor says with a smile that turns down at the last moment, his ego clearly bruised, but only slightly.
"Well said, off to Take it is!" Victor drains his glass, leaves some coin on the table as a tip and saunters towards the exit of the bar, waving and smiling to folks he knows as he goes.
Frilavor gets up grabs the pepperbox and bad news and puts up his cloak and follows Sayre " let's go my friend to more adventure AND EVEN MORE MONEY " he smiled drunk
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You all leave the tavern and you know this area of Vasselheim pretty well, From here its about a 20 minute walk to the Take. The outside air is brisk and chilly, The paths have a good inch of snow on them. Which is weird for Vasselheim at this time in the year, With Winters crest festival still 4 months away. Snow during this time of the year is not unheard of but it is a little odd. It's growing fairly late in the evening, The last bit of the sun on the horizon is barely peeking threw a cloud covered sky. Your walk towards the take is uneventful, You see children running home for the night after a long day of playing in the snow. You see Lights in store windows begin to go out and it seems like the city is coming to the calm of the night. It takes 20 minutes of walking to reach the take.
Locke Rolls 25 for Stealth
Frilavor, I want you to role a Constitution saving throw to see if you throw up. DC 17
Sayre, Because of your high Passive perception and General alertness as a Rogue, I want you to roll a Perception Check to see if you can notice Locke following the 3 of you.

I am also very interested in this idea, sounds very intriguing! - decent knowledge for CriticalRoll and dnd 5e here. Have the campaign guide.
I'm VERY interested in this campaign and I would gladly give you a character sheet to a gunslinger I've been working on
I would be interested as well. Is there any limitations on races or classes?
Also, what's with the random capitalization of words though? Makes it really hard to read the posts.
