Adopted Image

Due to circumstances beyond your control, you were separated from your biological parents, and were adopted by parents of another race.  While being different from your folks and maybe even from the society that you were raised in, you adapted to your new life well.

Skill Proficiencies: Growing up in a strange society has caused you to be very aware of other's way of living and how they differ from you, as well as their perceptions of you.  In addition to that, your adoptive parents took great lengths to teach you the skills that they felt you would need to survive in a society where you would eternally be the odd one out.

You have proficiency in the Insight skill as well as two other skills of your choice.

Tool Proficiencies: Due to watching your parents work on either their professions or their hobbies, you have learned to mirror them while they work.

You have proficiency in one tool set that your parents would have used often.

Languages: Your parents not only made sure to teach you the language that they speak, but also another language they felt would help you in all of your future endeavours.

You may pick two languages of your choice.  One of the two languages must be the language of your adoptive parents as shown on the chart below. If your adoptive parents were human and you already speak common, you may pick any language from the first list.

Equipment: Your parents sought to give you a small gift as you left to live your own life, as such, you receive a modest sum of gold to set you on the right path
