I'm happy to share that the D&D Beyond mobile app has now entered the beta phase and is available to the public in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
For the initial beta release, we have focused on eReader access for all of your Compendium content. Other parts of the DDB toolset - such as the spells, magic items, and monsters listings, homebrew creation, or the character builder/ sheet - will be added in later phases of the beta. We'll share more about those elements when we have updates.
Just as with the website beta period, the Compendium forms the backbone of everything that comes after it, so we're taking a similar approach for the mobile app. We truly appreciate your help during beta testing to polish the app further and prepare for the future phases.
For now, enjoy the freedom of having your D&D digital library available anytime, anywhere!
Note: If you participated in the alpha, we highly recommend that you uninstall/ delete the alpha version of the app and use a fresh beta install!
App Description:

So.....any plans on when a more robust app will be launched? Things like created characters, loads the same features as the website, etc.
Are there plans to get UA on the app?
Any idea on when the app will be useful to those who doesn't use it as an E-reader? Id love to be able to access my character sheet on the app as my phone is small and using the web browser takes up a lot of space that could be used for character info. As it stands, or has stood for a while now, it's just saving space on my phone for when it takes the next step forward. I never touch it and still use a paper character sheet because of the aforementioned problems and use the website to check and make sure I level properly (easier than scouring the books).
Can we at least get an idea on when the next phase will launch? Please?
Is there an Amazon App Store one?
is it possible to access character sheets and campaigns, I can't seem to find them.
Will there ever be a version where you can use the app to look at character?
It is one of the things they are currently working on right now.
Here is their Feature Roadmap showing what is in progress, what is slated to start being worked on next, and what is "eventually someday."
