Even if Oathbreaker is not present in the 2024 DMG, it should still be a valid option if you have the 2014 DMG. However too that point, if you create a Paladin now (using 2024 rules) and enable legacy options, you can still select Oathbreaker as a subclass for a 2024 Paladin in the character builder too see how you can build one.
I suspect Oathbreaker will appear in the DMG again but this is guess work at best, we will need to wait to see when it comes out.
I’m not so sure it will be. This is only speculation, but in the 14 PHB sidebar about breaking your oath, it specifically mentions looking at the oathbreaker subclass in the DMG as an option to consider. In that sidebar in the 24 PHB, it no longer makes mention of the oathbreaker.
Like I said, speculation. But either way, the 14 version will still exist and you can continue to use it.

Unfortunately, not 100% valid - considering the “Always Prepared” spells (inflict wounds and hellish rebuke at 3rd level, as well as all the other spells you should always have prepared as you level up) do not show up on the character sheet. 😬 Not sure if this is with all old subclasses - but it’s a bit disappointing.
There are workarounds: homebrew items that give you those spells I’m sure, although not everybody wants to make homebrew items - or use homebrew items. 🙃
slightly paranoid cus I like my oathbreakers and don’t want them gone
Edit: Yeah, Oathbreaker’s gone along with Death Domain. Woulda been fun to see a 2024 revision but I guess not :(

From what Nerd Immersion said, Oathbreaker paladin and Death cleric are not in the 2024 DMG.
Was that during a live stream? I missed that, but have not heard him say that in his other videos, unless I missed it.
I think it was a live stream.
