I think the BIG question is what are you specializations for Fighter and Blood Hunter. And your Fighting Style (or is it Styles ? )
Are you primarily planning on dealing damage, support, or both. As a Battle Master 3 / Ghostslayer 16 you have your crazy support options.
For example if you become a Rogue FIRST you get a lot of skills, and proficiency is tools for stealth and burglary. Then 3 Levels in Fighter you can take a +1 in AC with the Fighting style Defense (assuming you are keen on getting that extra AC) on top of Maneuvers, then lasting becoming a Blood Hunter you would gain the the big powerful Rite's and Maledicts. This would make you almost a Support Tank (once you get your Maledicts), and more importantly keep your party alive.
Or go Champion 3 and get that better criticals to do MAD DAMAGE.
Regardless with the Sneak Attack ability to add 1d6 if you have an ally next to the target, or from stealth will be very nice in my option. And better Ability Checks with Expertise is always a nice thing to have.
Hi!
I'd like to make a Bloodhunter fighter and wanted to know if a rogue would synergize well in that.
using a dex build, so rapier and shield. will be going 3 fighter/16Blood hunter and maybe 1 rogue for the sneak attack and expertise.
i would be losing out on a Rite d10 damage die, a 4th blood maledict and a blood curse.
wasnt really sure where to post it, sorry if its incorrect.
Regards.
