I was wondering, according to the PHB 2024, if I play a Great Old One Warlock and I want to use Create Thrall by casting Summon Aberration, can I cast it using a spell slot higher than 5th level? I know I can take Mystic Arcanum, but it states that I can only use 6th level (and higher) spells without expending a spell slot, which doesn't really answer my question.
The rule for Summon Aberration is that its HP is equal to 40 + 10 for every spell level above 4. In GOOlock it would make thematic sense, that you can, at 19-20th level upcast it at level 9, having creature that has 40 HP + 50 HP = 90 HP. Create Thrall now gives it THP equal to Warlock level + CHA modifier. With spell slot cap at level 5, at levels 19-20 that would mean: 40 HP + 10 HP (level 5 cap) + 19 (Warlock level) + 5 (CHA) = 74 HP...
In other way: If I have a Mystic Arcanum, can I treat all my spell slots as they were just 6th (and later higher) level spell slots?
If you mean using your Mystic Arcanum as if they were spell slots so you can use them for any of your spells as opposed to only the one you chose for it, then I'd ask your DM. It's definitely not RAW, but I would allow it. It doesn't break the game in any way, and I genuinely think that's how it should work, anyway.
If you mean that ALL your spell slots will be upcast to the level of your highest Mystic Arcanum, then absolutely not. It's not RAW, and it's a really bad idea. High level spell slots are limited for every caster. Having a warlock have four 9th level spell slots would break the game.

Mystic arcanum only allows you to cast the spell you gain through that power. It does not allow you to upcast your other pact magic spells.
But ask your DM. You never know what they might allow.
