I am writing a campaign about the Fey, as the title suggests, however I cannot find any information that is like a history about the Feywild, does anyone know where i can find information? Any help would be amazing!
I don't think there is any 5E published material on this outside of what is in the DMG pages 49-50 (this is not open source material so not yet available here).
If you want fun stories about some of the races of the Fey, i would suggest just reading the extra info for the monsters. You can find all sorts of fun bits of lore there.

Hell yeah I am going to Polymorph the boss into a Rabbit. I have always wanted a being a pure evil stuffed into a ball of fluff.
There was a lot of detail about the Fey in 4e. Heroes of the Feywild was a book, it had some stuff. There was also bits about Patrons such as the Lord of Lightning, Lord of Bats and the Mistress of Swords in other 4e books.
Seriously though, you are probably better to look at traditional folklore for inspiration. Other RPGs which may inspire you:
If you want some info about various Archfey, just Google up "fey deities" and the very first Wikipedia article is actually about various Archfey with some info about the "Upper Planes", which is basically now the Feywild. The info is from 2e, but it is still a pretty decent source for ideas.
Not about the feywild or fry per se, but I just posted a homebrew Feytouchrd Teifling subrace write up that just might fit your setting. Check it out over in the home brew section of the forums.

4e's Heroes of The Feywild is basically a campaign guide for the Feywild.
Its really, really, well written, and definately all you need to run a Fey campaign.
For me, I like to use stuff like that as inspiration, and make up my own version.
When it comes to my thoughts on the Fey and Feywild, it's usually an extremely cautious "don't trust anything"
English folklore portrays Them as creatures that you absolutely, positively do not call by name; mysterious, mischievous, capricious, unpredictable; English folklore also says that if you say something's name too often, it might come looking for you. Note that that particular aspect of English folklore is descended from the sidhe of Celtic mythology.

I would also say looking into the older editions (not sure which but I think 4 or 3) have some insight when it comes to the Fey.
