Was looking for other topics but this piqued my interest for no absolute reason so here goes me necroposting this thread.
My wizard Rula, has a manifest mind who is her tulpa (sentient imaginary friend) named Ayesha. Rula developed Ayesha when she was small after her altercation with her father (they're nobles and she basically punched the prince/BBEG for bullying her brother). She's consciously a very good girl so she makes this imaginary friend to talk with that is basically all her "bad thoughts" condensed into one being so she wouldn't be the one feeling negative/mean all the time.
The sole reason she chose this wizard "subclass" is for the manifest mind feature. She wants to manifest her tulpa so everyone can see and interact with her instead of always being a being inside her head.
Appearance wise she's like a puppet with performer-like behavior and acts like a total drama queen. There is a longer reason why she's designed that way (such as the choice of flowers on her clothing or why she wears top hat) but I won't bore you guys with details for now XD My DM and I (who both has control over Ayesha's RP) has been making her a menace to the other party members.
