soooooo i made a chrono wizard before the 2024 new rules came out, but want i wanna know are we gonna get this subclass anytime soon? it is from critical role and they are partner so what is happening?
There have been no announcements about any subclasses beyond those in the PHB. They may have confirmed there will be subclasses in the FR book next year, but that, of course, won’t include cr stuff. So if/when they update these cr stuff is anybody’s guess.
And they won't. WOTC does not own Chronomany or Graviturgy. Those are third party subclasses. The creator of those spells has moved on to a different system (that I believe he also owns) so unless he's given a boatload of money to update that content for a competitor system (D&D) there's very little reason to believe that he'll update them for the 2024 version.
Any time an unfathomably powerful entity sweeps in and offers godlike rewards in return for just a few teensy favors, it’s a scam. Unless it’s me. I’d never lie to you, reader dearest.
Yes but there are CR spells added with the 2024 classes. The the book that brought that subclass and spells was Explorer's Guide to Wildemount a book made by Critical Role. So why are their Critical role spells linked towards 2024 version class but not the dunamancy spells?

What spells are you talking about? The only CR spells are Dunamancy spells specifically for the Chronurgy and Graviturgy subclasses for the Wildemount book.

Even if its partnered content, they did promise backwards compatibility. They should eventually get the 2014 standard treatment for 2024.
As for benefiting right now. The homebrew tool for subclassed would help at least a little to make the subclass with the 2024 template.
The 2024 update will probably not come as others have said. As it depends in CR making that adjustment.
Ps. I thought the wildemount book was published by wizards with matt mercer and not by darrington press like the taldorei book is.🤔
Publishing doesn't mean ownership of copyright. The IP of Wildemount book still rests with Critical Role - WotC cannot legally update it to 2024 ruleset without Critical Role's permission, which has not yet been given.

That's certainly true. They both own the contents of the book, but anything related to Exandria is exclusively of Critical Role.
I don't think Critical Role will discontinue its partnership with Wizards, they might change some things but in the end they'll continue playing DnD on stream, even if they push their own system more and more this year with its release and the obvious thing is they do most of their content or their main content in their own system.
But I think they do enjoy playing DnD so they won't cut the ties yet (even if they can and won't suffer any loses). Time will tell, sooner rather than later.

You can use 2014 subclasses with 2024 classes.

Plus, the chrono wizard is Critical role (3rd party), so they would have to update it, and they moved on to another system.

I checked you can't
They have not added chrono or gravy wizard and spells on the 2024 classes of wizards yet.
