When I drew him, he was just holding a normal broom, like the type a witch would hold, but I really like the broom-scythe you made. And the flat-cap was a nice touch.
Ha, that is awesome, I love the accent you gave Death. The Grim Sweeper was heavily inspired by Terry Pratchett's Death from his Discworld books. I want to make an Undying or Hexblade warlock who has the Grim Sweeper as his patron. Death might have a little brother named the Grim Weeper who eternally sheds tears and feels all the despair and anguish in the world. (Death thinks of him as a crybaby.) The Grim Sweeper isn't evil, he is more of a lawful neutral force just doing his job and may even show compassion and try to ease the fears of the dead and dying. However, he cannot allow the dead to live and he despises undead and creatures like the Deep Scion who have escaped death. He may give the dying a chance to live again, but only temporarily and for a certain reason, like to kill a certain creature that should be dead, or to fetch a new broom handle. He also is a cat person and is the reason that they have nine lives.
Hey all! I'm trying to break back into drawing and I've done a couple of pencil sketches for some homebrew races I'll be releasing next month for Halloween, the Harvest Sprite and the Reformed!
(going to be honest, the Reformed turned out fairly creepy but seeing as they are a Halloween frankenstein-inspired race, that's probably what I should have expected!)
Stay tuned to my DMs Guild Release Thread for when the releases drop (I will be jazzing up the art, this was on my break at work!)
Having a crack at this, biro on plain paper as I haven't got pencils right now!
Drew him close to the edge, but hre's the Grim Sweeper!
I shall have a crack at some of the others too!

Nice! That is really good, thanks!
Does he look as you pictured him? I don't know why, I just felt he should have a flat-cap.
I'm also pleased with the broom-scythe :)

I'm glad you like him!
If I were running him, I would have the whole "deal with death" Thing be something remarkably mundane, and a nod to Triggers Broom:
"Oh no! Death! Do I have to die? Is there anything I can do?"
"Well... could use a new 'andle for me broom."
"... a handle? for your broom?"
"Yeah, love this broom I do. 'ad it for centuries. It's 'ad a few new 'eads, and a few new 'andles, but it's still me broom!"

Hello 👋, that art all looks great. If you wouldn't mind could you draw my friends character if you're still taking requests?
He's a kobold bard / artificer so anything with musical (he plays the ukulele) , inventor or daraconic themes would be really cool.
Thanks very much if you're able to draw it as it'd be greatly appreciated.
That grim sweeper is my favorite thing I've seen today
Every time I check up on this page your art gets even better Thoruk, thank you for the free art!
Hi, I am not a chest. I deny with 100% certainty that I am a chest. I can neither confirm nor deny what I am beyond that.
I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
I also do homebrew, check out my Spells and Magic Items
