I'm running Out of the Abyss at the home table. I made up a few different modular terrain pieces to keep our Underdark encounters colorful. The rock bases are mostly green floral foam textured with drywall spackle and then drybrushed. The crystals are from some cheap necklaces I bought in the Joanne Fabrics jewelry making section. The mushrooms and stalactites are both hot glue dripped over frames made of toothpicks and paper.
Good texture with the drybrushing. Hot glue wouldn't have occurred to me as a sculpting/sealing medium, but it seems othave done the trick. Great source of crystals, too!

I'm such a sucker for Underdark terrain in crazy colors. These look outstanding.
