I did not yet introduced any Japanese folklore element in my campaigns, mostly for lack of actual knowledge at the time, but now that I know more, I am most definitely going to introduce elements in my campaign (which is going to be tricky as hell, given two of my players actually studied Japanese and Japanese culture XD).
As always, beautiful piece, I love your style, and it is really fitting the Japanese thematic. <3

I'm gonna be *attempting* to mount a few of your maps to foam board later tonight. I'll post pics if it goes well. I used your Galleon map mounted to spare cardboard as the first set-piece of my custom campaign and my players loved it (they had only had digital battlemaps on a monitor that was laid flat up to that point).
Pretty happy with how these came out. Unfortunately it has extra lines from the page breaks because my printer refused to print landscape (I found out later that "cut marks" had to be unchecked). I'm planning on making 1"-1.5" spacers to place between levels and basically create a city skyline for the city my players are heading towards.
Thanks again LeK! It's easy for me because my players are all new to Japanese culture, so I can get away with making things up all the time. On the other hand, they hardly have have a visual library yet, so it's tough to describe things. It took me some time just to explain what an irori looks like!
Update: There wasn't a great angle to take this from, but this is part of what my players will be seeing when they enter the next city. I'm planning on picking up some 2" wooden cubes to use as the spacers (instead of whatever thinly packaged games I could find). I'm also gonna get some more foam core to do more buildings and also your city street map.
EDIT: Just a quick sidenote, I didn't put spacers between the basement and first floor for added "realism" (so that the skyline wouldn't be artificially larger)
That new map should definitely come in handy. I'll probably do the same thing I'm planning to do for the city street and make a double-sided board with the day and night versions on each side. And it's totally fine to post to the site, you can just credit it as Luke for now. I'll probably post some more photos later on too!
Are you planning on doing a trap set any time soon btw? I'm working on creating a dungeon for under the city my party is coming up on and was just wondering if this was on your roadmap at all
Thanks Luke, I'll keep them handy for a Community Gallery post! I was just wondering what to add to the Dungeon set next month, so your trap set suggestion is well timed. I'll try and get it out this March!
What sort of traps would you like to see? The hard part isn't drawing them, it's coming up with them.
For traps there is always the bear trap idea, but also maybe some kind of pit, that we could move a piece of paper for when our players walk up to it, basically make it look like the ground in some of your other tiles sets. I would use that all the time. Then there is always spikes out of the walls and fire or acid dropping from the ceiling.
But on a side note Rushmik, it would be really awesome if there was a way to have your site look at what's in my gallery already from you, and be able to download everything past that. I've already bought everything up to a month or three ago and just haven't had the time to go back, so if it could tell me auto magically that would be SUPER awesome. Just a thought.

In no way do I expect you to make all of these, but this is what I can think of off the top of my head:
Pit trap (with spike or ooze variant)
Fire trap (similar to your Greybanner Arena ones)(with acid/ice variant)
Spike wall (like the kind that'd be across an entire passage and move towards the players)
Porticullis (raised and lowered versions)
Blade traps (spinning sawblades, both for the floor and the walls)
Magic trap (Rune on the floor with some sort of spell effect)
Decorative wall fixtures (like snake heads or something) that could be used for most of the above traps as well as a dart trap
Rolling boulder trap (think Indiana Jones)
Maybe even a trapped chest of some sort (the lid and chest could be separate layers so that the players can actually open the chest
And that's all I can think of. I know that's a lot (especially since you have 2 different corridor widths in your tile set), but just some ideas XD
PS - The waterfall map is awesome! With almost all of your maps, I've been going "hmmmm, how can I work this into my campaign" and when I was creating it in the first place, I used some of your work as a basis for some of the story/world elements
I'd love to implement something like that, but it's not really feasible with the framework I have going on. Right now you can accomplish something half way there though; if you browse the gallery while logged in, the button below the maps will change from Add To Cart to Download (like so) depending on if you have the map already. The download link just links to my ugly download page, but the button still serves to tell you what you're missing in your collection. Hopefully that helps!
Something that you might want to do for getting ideas/feedback is creating a discord for your Patreon supporters (it's free as far as I know). I know Printable Heroes has one and it's pretty active. Just a thought :)
Hmm, I'm a bit late to the Discord scene. How is it better than Patreon's community posts and comments sections? Is it just less formal and intimidating?
It is less formal, but it allows for different "channels" for different things. It's also a bit more immediate for feedback and kinda encourages more responses (as it's more like texting). I'm in the one for Printable Heroes and one for StoryForge right now and both have been pretty active. Printable Heroes just posted a print test of his next thing on Discord earlier today.

Fantastic Maps!!
Clean and precise!

FREAKING AWESOME!!!

In other news, my latest map is this chilly town square. Perhaps also useful for your city?

What did you print them on? just paper then glue them on a foam board?

This is February's last map, the Tranquil Waterfall. :)
