Imo if you're sorting spells by level, you should be able to jump straight to a certain spell level rather than clicking through pages.. For example clicking on page 4 takes you about halfway through the level 2 spells

Some method of bookmarking spells would be useful. Like say I'm running a game for several spell casters and there are a handful of spells that they use frequently in strange ways. There should be some way to put those all in once place. It'd be nice to be able to just go to one screen for those as opposed to clicking across teh class pages or searching for them.
I think the Concentration tag, and others like it, need to be more prominent. Preferably a note on the first line of the description instead of a little icon in the duration section - when looking up spells in the middle of a combat, its quite easy to miss them

I totally agree, or make the Concentration tag under Duration a bit larger so it stands out. Maybe even give the spell a 'Spell Tag: Concentration' at the bottom.
When I went to the filter section for spells and clicked on the Spell School block, it opened my keypad on my iPhone. Doing this blocked my ability to scroll down the list you provide to pick from. I know a lot of that may be due to my iPhone and if I'm holding it horizontally or vertically, but if there is anything on your end to make it easier to avoid problems like this it would be great. Thank you.
Also, another useful feature would allow searching spells by School of Magic. I like playing Conjurers and it would be awesome if I could just show conjuration spells. From the DM side, it would be great to search spells by Attack/Save type so I can easily find that CON Save spell since my Group is amazing at DEX saves. :)
This has probably already been posted, but could we ever have custom spells? For example, if my DM let me create a spell that is better suited to the theme of my character, I'd love to have it in a list that can be chosen just like all the other spells.

During the beta test of D&D Beyond, we'll only be including content that is freely available from Wizards of the Coast, including the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion and potentially others. The beta will not include additional content from a Commercially Released Book, Module or Supplement.
All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has not yet been announced.
Maybe I just can't figure it out, but spells with the effect "Buff(...)" don't seem to be able to list the type of buff they provide (Utility, Warding, Damage, etc.).
I've also noticed some tag inconsistencies. Shield of Faith currently only has the "Utility" tag, while I think it would fall under the general "Buff" tag like Protection from Evil and Good. Similarly Sanctuary is only tagged as a "Buff" but is definitely deserving of the "Warding" tag as well.
I may be missing something here but I think there is a spell missing in the bard list, in the basic rulebook it says that bards have access to Dissonant whispers as one of their lvl 1 spells, however it is not there when you sort bard spells by level one

I just checked SRD and Basic and PHB to see where this spell is. It is only in the PHB not in Basic or SRD. Bard free stuff is only in the SRD and not in Basic rules at all. This spell is part of the paid for content, not the free content.

I like Calprin99's idea for being able to bookmark your own custom spell list :)

Please add ALL the missing conditions on the condition page and add the links to the missing conditions in the spells
For example of missing conditions see https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/beta-testing-feedback/1478-suggestion-add-a-link-to-the-condition-in-monsters
The database pays off but pays more if complete.
Great job, thanks for the work.

If you look at the advanced filters you will see the option to search by School of Magic and save type. :)

maybe have an option to see some/all of the spells in the list by adding something like:
View 25, 50, 100, to a page
something like that
