So re-code it to allow options? It's computer code, not stone tablets.
No, it's not a stone tablet, code is more like a house of cards. Swapping out some of the cards at the bottom can cause the whole stack to come tumbling down, so devs will be cautious about doing so. But instead of cards tumbling down, it's peoples character sheets becoming corrupted and unusable. It's not a trivial undertaking; one does not simply change legacy code.

Establish boundaries. And if anyone crosses them, speak up. If they don’t listen, there’s always cloudkill …
This is actually pathetic that this isnt fixed yet and they are working on new content instead. So greedy. Armorer still doesn't work either. The list probably goes on. This problem could have been resolved if they actually cared, but they pass it off as impossible to users to make their workload more streamlined toward selling new products, not fixing anything they sold half finished.

Three years ago, one lone hero chose to speak up. To this day, battlemasters are crippled by their reluctant overlords.
Are you surprised? It’s been 10 years since the PHB came out and there’s still stuff from that that doesn’t work yet.

Here we are at the end of 2024, almost 3 whole years since this issue was pointed out, and it’s still not fixed. That’s just crazy to me.
