This still hasn't been fixed? Jeez. How hard is it to add a "delete" button for what's probably a barebones entry in a spreadsheet? Or an edit button, for that matter?
Been using a separate spreadsheet to monitor new entries as a "workaround". Hopefully they'll get around to enhancing the encounter builder and fixing this nonsense.
As a person that knows how to code... it's really not that hard to add a "delete" button. Also they did it before why can't they just copy over the code for manual entries?
I'm upset I wasted an hour figuring why i did something wrong, only to find this thread eventually to learn it's a long outstanding bug. the paymasters at WoTC should be ashamed.
More Than 3 years later, this has still not been fixed. Like most of the platform's multi-year lasting issues, which have been abandoned in pursuit of adding new half-baked ill-supported "features", because WotC is obsessed with becoming a direct competitor to Roll20, but for some reason doesn't think they have to spend the time and money to make a quality product first.
I'm running Dragons of Stormwreck Isles. There are several encounters that recommend adding more monsters based upon level 1, 2, or 3. To make it a single entry, I add the monsters in groups (by dragging and dropping them on top of each other) and then label the group. Is there a way to hide monsters or groups (even better) quickly in the tracker? This way if the players are level 1, I hide groups 2 & 3. If level 2, I only hide group 3. If level 3, all the groups are unhidden.
Check out AboveVTT. It's an extension that has a lot of features with encounters, maps, etc. You can hide pre-placed mobs for encounters. You can remove mobs from the combat tracker, etc. I like that it makes it easy to show the players one map while loading another for the DM. I started show the into to some areas to the players where it narrates what they are seeing as they approach. Essentially the transition scene with that old scholarly voice type person. Then I switch to the map of the area with fog effects, light, etc. I like the living maps too. They move and have sound. We had the classic goblin ambush with the dead horses on the trail scene. The trees moved and the flies flew around the corpses. You could hear the wind and even the flies.

Hey Guys its 2024 and you're playtesting a new edition, why is this still not fixed? Are you fixing anything in DnD beyond? Why is it still in beta?

Example:
Group: Lvl1
kobolds x 4
winged kobold x1
Group: Lvl2
kobolds x 2
winged kobold x1
Group: Lvl2
kobolds x 2
winged kobold x1
I came to the forums trying to find out how to delete them, expecting I was missing something. Turns out there is no such option...... still.
After joining more my signature got out of hand so I am now a proud member of the extended signature club!! :)

Best part is it interfaces with DDB.
