I recently purchased Explorers guide to Wildemount and was planning on making a character as a lever 3 echo knight. The problem is that the subclass does not appear when I go to select it. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Echo Knight is still not showing up for me as an option. I have re-synced my entitlements correctly, enabled Critical Role content (and refreshed these settings multiple times as directed), and I can see Blood Hunter as an option… but not Echo Knight. Can someone please assist?
Do you own the Explorers guide to Wildemount book, have purchased the Echo Knight from it separately, or are making the character in a campaign in which that content is being shared with you?
Edit: I see now that you said you'd sync'd them... What else to suggest...
Maybe check the entitlements page anyway, to make sure it says you own those purchases? There's been times where people accidentally login with a different account than they'd originally used.
Havent gotten to the full char sheet because I couldn’t pick the class.
Note that since the Echo Knight and Battle Master are subclasses of the fighter, not classes themselves, you won't be able to select those subclasses directly from the class list. Rather, you'd need to select the Fighter class from the class list first (and hit "Add Class"); then, when you've increased your character to level 3 (which is when fighters get the Martial Archetype feature), you should be able to select a subclass from the dropdown for the Martial Archetype feature.
(The Artificer class, however, should be appearing in the class list if you own it or have had it shared with you.)
Which part of this process are you encountering problems at?
Following the release of the artificer in Tasha’s Cauldron of everything, it is now considered a core class, and no longer locked behind the Eberron toggle. From the TCoE Issues & Support thread:
ARTIFICER "SETTING" - with the Artificer class being published in Tasha's, it is now considered a core class for the D&D game, rather than belonging exclusively to the Eberron setting. This means that the Artificer class & subclasses are no longer behind the Eberron toggle in the character builder.

You need to select Fighter and the Echo Knight option will be available at level 3 when selecting the subclass (as long as Critical Role content remains on).
its a issue with partnered content. They issued a statement about getting with those people to update the classes to be compatible but we have no idea if or when it will happen. Apparently the claims of everything being compatible was a plain lie

Licensing issues are a separate beast and you should know that.
Tip for all: Any partnered subclass can be added as a homebrew class. About 99% of features can be inserted as expected (just make a homebrew copy for the old class and copy the features for the new class) and the 1% are easy to work around. (For instance, the Grim Hollow Barbarian subclass has the ability to pick a skill. While I had to open it up to the "Pick a Skill" option instead of the specialized one that isn't in the dropdown from scratch, the description is still correct and the subclass functions perfectly.)

I own the Echo Knight separately.
It also does not appear that I can select artificer or battle master even though I own these as well.

Can you provide your Character sheet URL - in order to assist further we will need to see what you you have selected.

Only if Eberron content has been enabled.

Aha! Thank you for the insight. As for Artificer it’s showing up now. Not sure why it didn’t before but maybe I hadn’t synced when I first tried it.
i own EGTWM but even with the critical role content enabled its not showing on my character options after the new handbook update
